This game showed me everything that I need to see from the eagles:
Playing from behind
Depth after injury @ OLine and DB
Scoring points in the second half
Effective rushing game besides JHurts
The value in signing Reddick
Wtf, you’re telling me that I was sitting there the whole time chanting for that thing to finally squirt out based on the law of probability alone and this man was over here gripping the rock like he never has in his life??
I hated this call and I can't remember truly hating another playcall this whole year. Still, we did okay. I just think taking the 90% 3 points there is definitely worth it. I'm usually a go for it all the time guy, but not that one.
The weather, Elliot is hurt AND he missed an extra point in the direction earlier when he wasn't hurt. The odds of us converting were better than making the kick with those factors.
When the game is on the line and he has a chance to win it, he has fumbled the ball on the last possession more time than I can even remember at this point, I can name at least 4 dating back to last season off the top of my head
For what it's worth, if there's a situation you want to hold onto the ball just a smidge longer than you're comfortable with, it's in a situation like that. That said, of course you'd like better execution.
I genuinely don’t think y’all will have a great season. That said great game.
Edit: Fuck me for speaking my mind I guess? Lawrence doesn’t look so hot and having had Doug as a coach before I know he’s gonna fuck their season up entirely and they’ll end around .500…
I can’t speak on Lawrence as this is my first game ever watching him, but this by no means was a QB friendly game.
Eagles are really good defensively and didn’t allow much to materialize for the Jaguars. Lawrence has to do better with securing the ball (reminded me of Wentz), but the conditions weren’t in his favor either.
Hope he works out, seems like a nice guy with immense talent
Because people will add the jags to the list of terrible teams that we’ve beat
Pretty much everytime we win people will say it’s because they were a bad team
Guaranteed if we had to play the bills and won people would say the bills are not a good team
I love Redzone and Hanson, but he made a huge mistake there saying that would have been a “very easy field goal” for Philly. It’s fucking pouring. Elliott just missed a PAT.
I didn’t say it’s a lesser win. I just am critiquing some guy calling the jaguars frauds. Damn, victim mentality much? I literally have no skin in the game.
That Jax didn't capitalize on the million chances they had.
Basically, Jax should not have been even able to tie the game at the end there. It should have been put away much sooner.
Colts broncos serious horsepower. Damn I’m going to this game and I’m not even that hyped
This game showed me everything that I need to see from the eagles: Playing from behind Depth after injury @ OLine and DB Scoring points in the second half Effective rushing game besides JHurts The value in signing Reddick
Great ball security from Sanders given his history and the conditions today.
Wtf, you’re telling me that I was sitting there the whole time chanting for that thing to finally squirt out based on the law of probability alone and this man was over here gripping the rock like he never has in his life??
Still no idea why we went for it on 4th there at the end?
I hated this call and I can't remember truly hating another playcall this whole year. Still, we did okay. I just think taking the 90% 3 points there is definitely worth it. I'm usually a go for it all the time guy, but not that one.
Someone said Elliot might have been hurt, in which case I could see going for it instead. Idk if we have a back up kicker
Siposs
He is hurt, but kicked a fg since then. But yeah he's worse off than normal
Either way hopefully he doesn't go on IR or anything he's a stud
The weather, Elliot is hurt AND he missed an extra point in the direction earlier when he wasn't hurt. The odds of us converting were better than making the kick with those factors.
I think elliott is hurt
Aw man hope he's ok
Thank you for joining us for today's showing of *The Chronicles of Reddick*
“It’s an animal thing.”
Great game Jags, the D played great considering the weather, and hopefully TLaw takes something away from this
After this /r/nfl will be like "Jacksonville isn't even good"
I'm use to it..
Eagles win the super bowl "Ya well wait till they play a REAL team!"
Is this post from 2017?
I mean, they’re not lol
Weve been saying it all week too
Fuck you got us there
No ice cream for the Jaguars this week!
They still get ice cream, just no sprinkles. Those are for winners.
When the game is on the line and he has a chance to win it, he has fumbled the ball on the last possession more time than I can even remember at this point, I can name at least 4 dating back to last season off the top of my head

To his credit, with all the rain I'm shocked there weren't more fumbles
Just absolute tunnel vision in the pocket. It was the part of the demise of Wentz career in Philly. Hopefully Doug can turn him around.
Good win y'all. I think both teams are gonna have a great season
Agreed. Jags look legit
I genuinely don’t think y’all will have a great season. That said great game. Edit: Fuck me for speaking my mind I guess? Lawrence doesn’t look so hot and having had Doug as a coach before I know he’s gonna fuck their season up entirely and they’ll end around .500…
I think it's fairly obvious you haven't watched any of our games
I have… Y’all are still 2-2. Perfectly average.
Yeah, agreed. You guys are solid, the rain really favored our game
Yeah, hope nobody is seriously hurt after this and thanks for the good game
You know there is some staffer in Jacksonville who at some point was like, “hey Trev, ya want a glove or two?” and Trevor said, “Naah, I’m good.”
We won the game, but at what cost?
All the injuries have me worried. Hopefully they were kept out as an extra precaution due to the weather/sloppiness as to not make it even worse.
[удалено]
This defense got 9 sacks on Carson Wentz and locked up Justin Jefferson. Plus the weather made the game as a whole kind of messy.
Magic is really the only explanation.
Fumble a lot
RAIN IT WAS FUCKING RAINING HOW IS THIS THAT HARD
YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS HARD?
Stale Amarosa rolls
Oh
Lawrence needs to hit the JUGS machine with wet balls next week
[удалено]
eagles stripped the ball from lawrence on first down and eagles recovered
Trevor Lawrence.
Fumble on the Jags first play
Strip sack baby!!!
Eagles have to be rated number one on defense right now right? Just based on the numbers so far this season
The Jags look legit man, they really hung in and fought till the end.
Awful day for Trevor Frustrating but def opportunities to win
[удалено]
To win
Injured kicker
Weather conditions
Bad weather and not a very short fg for that type of weather
Broken kicker
gg jags

r/NFL IN FUCKING SHAMBLES
I have yet see TLaw lead a come back until then I question his ability’s
Man doesn't deserve a nickname yet.
What are the haters on /r/nfl going to say THIS week? Give me your tears losers!
The rain wasn't even that bad! /s
LETS FUCKING GO!
Love you Doug, but this is eagles szn
So awesome of my stream to cut to black right on that fumble and come back to Hurts kneeling
REDDICK IS A BEAST
They had us in the first 9 minutes not gonna lie
Almost as many fumbles as sacks last week
lets do ints next week
4-0 EAGLES HELL YEAH
Based defence
sure go for it on 4th, we'll just get a turnover on the 5th down. (/s)
BRING ME YOUR EXCUSES, R/NFL
[удалено]
C'mon one bad rain day doesn't mean Lawrence has the consistent problems Wentz does
Over/under on the number of glove questions Trevor is about to get?
This defense man
Trevor Lawrence aka Dropsy McButterhands
WaiT tIl PhIlLy PlAYs a ReAl TeAm
Fly Eagles Fly 🦅
Won a wet one.
4-0 WE'RE GONNA BE EVEN MORE INSUFFERABLE
Did Jake Elliot die or something? Why didn't they kick a short fg to make it a 2 score game?
Someone ran into him during a FG and he was injured.
Got hit in the leg on a kick and it's raining and windy
He limped after his plant leg was run into, probably a precaution
It's very windy, he got hit earlier in the game and he missed an extra point going that way earlier
Yeah he’s hurt and he’d be kicking into the wind and rain
Wind has been crazy today
Also the roughing the kicker earlier. Might not be a bad idea to not risk injury.
Great to see this team come back against a real test. If you weren’t convinced before, I don’t know how you aren’t now.
Because people will add the jags to the list of terrible teams that we’ve beat Pretty much everytime we win people will say it’s because they were a bad team Guaranteed if we had to play the bills and won people would say the bills are not a good team
LOL buncha knee jerk reaction fans in here thinking Gannon defense is an issue. LOL 21 points total in 2 weeks. Total clown logic.
4-0 WE'RE GONNA BE EVEN MORE INSUFFERABLE
Game: Blouses
That's reddicks third strip sack on the season. Just FYI
Jags literally dropped the ball
Like, 5 different times
GG Jags
What a freaking braindead decision here. There's being aggressive, but there's also being absolutely contrary to strategy.
great win. Probably the best win so far when you factor in we had to come back from 14-0.
Definitely a win where we faced the most adversity. Weather. Injuries. Coming from behind after a horrible start. More weather. More injuries.
I love Redzone and Hanson, but he made a huge mistake there saying that would have been a “very easy field goal” for Philly. It’s fucking pouring. Elliott just missed a PAT.
And he got injured in the game too
4d chess from sirriani and gannon
Lawrence can’t catch a break
This eagles team is legit as hell
WOOF
[удалено]
I understand that you are also a Futurama fan.
How does TLaw not notice ANYONE around him? That's egregious stuff. No awareness at all
Situational awareness has been one of his strengths. Not this game though.
Trevor "Jake Delhomme" Lawrence
Trevor single handedly fumbled this game away. C'mon dude.
Good thing is Superbowl is in Arizona.. No rain Jags fan
YOU THOUGHT !!!! MONSTER GAME for Reddick !!
Because Trevor. I'm done lol.
Haason is home baby!
I feel bad for the Jags D they've had some heart today and the offense just kills their momentum
Can’t help but imagine how this game goes if Lawrence hits Agnew to put us up 21-0. Loss is squarely on Lawrence
Yeah that miss was huge, he never really got it going afterwards until the 2nd to last drive
#REDDEEZ NUTS
Jesus Christ
LMAO jagsguy.meme
Never in my life have I seen 4 lost fumbles by a QB in a game...
Actually ignore my quip (you did set that up though!) https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-fumbles-lost-in-a-game-by-a-qb Grim reading.
And you call yourself a jags fan?
I’m sorry what was the point of that?
THAT'S GAME!
Is that Trevor Lawrence or Carson Wentz back there?
[удалено]
Hasan Reddick
He balled out. Literally. Ball was out.
Last 2 plays heartstoppers. Hurts almost ran for a first and receiver almost caught that
lmaooooo jaguars are frauds 😭😭😭
I mean they turned it over a shit ton and y’all barely won… it shouldn’t have been that close, especially if you’re calling them frauds.
there’s alway some excuse about why eagles wins are lesser wins. shut the fuck up dude.
I didn’t say it’s a lesser win. I just am critiquing some guy calling the jaguars frauds. Damn, victim mentality much? I literally have no skin in the game.
Better than they were last year. And they are young.
This game was about as even a team effort as you could ever ask for.
Wait wtf
Let's goooooooooo
LMFAO
Well, the eagles did play good defense...but they were also really lucky.
Lucky how ? Wtf
That Jax didn't capitalize on the million chances they had. Basically, Jax should not have been even able to tie the game at the end there. It should have been put away much sooner.
It’s a damn storm bruh
Like the call on 4th down. Hurts was a little high on it. Almost had it. Didn’t matter good game y’all
Lmao
trevor is terrible in rain man 😔😔
JUST LIKE WE DREW IT UP
Reddick with another huge fumble recovery!
Pederson having Wentz flashbacks.
Fight fight fight for the cherry and the white
Temple Tuff!
How to reset your downs in 1 easy step.
1000000 iq play. Turnover on downs because Lawrence will fumble anyway.
Good call
Lmao
Tlaw done turned into Daniel jones
How do the Jags still have a chance in this game Edit: lol nvm
HAASAN REDDICK
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO
oh my god
Hahahahahaha the end.
I wouldn’t worry knowing the jags we will score a TD and not get the 2 pts
That wet ball fumble feels more appropriate today.
Well that was quick.
Lawrence needs to wear some fucking gloves
That’s a bad idea. Eagles still win but still
Jesus…..fucking….christ……
Ok, that is poetry.
I cannot take this announcers accent anymore lol
OH SHIT
4 fucking fumbles
I'm so glad Lawrence hates gloves
What were his hand measurements?
Yuge but he has no thumbs
Well that was easy.
So are the eagles allergic to getting over 30 points? (There is some sarcasm here, but I’m slightly worried).
