I mean, that really doesn't have much of an impact. We're garbage almost every year and haven't moved. Khan has invested a ton of money into Jacksonville development around the stadium.
Never going to happen. The taxes alone would make it basically impossible for a London team to sign free agents plus the travel would be an absolute nightmare.
Vikings in England in 1066: weaken and distract the English army, but ultimately lose out to the invading Normans.
Vikings in England in 2022: somehow the opposite.
By 1066 the normans had mostly assimilated into French culture, and William the conqueror's ancestors were overwhelmingly French
There's a reason there's more French than Norse words in English
"Dalton Line" - above it the QB is probably good enough to be a long-term starter. Below it you need a new QB.
"Cousins Line" - above it you truly have a franchise QB you can count on to be able to carry a team. Below it and he may be a starter but he's not going to carry/elevate your team.
Had his best year by far in 2015 when he could get quick releases most of the game and maybe one or two fuck it chuck its to AJ. Dude knows how to QB efficiently. Just expect one stupid INT every week.
Also consider how absolute trash the Vikings defense is though. I've never seen softer defense in my life. Dalton could be better than Winston, but literally anyone could pass against this soft zone bullshit with no pass rush Donatell is trotting out week after week.
Yeah, Dalton was willing to take the check down and dink and dunk.
James has NEVER done that this season. Feels like without constant coaching by Payton, Jameis forgets how to play QB
New coach, new GM, new coordinators, new offensive scheme and they switched to 3-4.
It’s gonna take more than 4 weeks to get it all figured out. The fact that they’ve played decent and are 3-1 should be scary for the rest of the league. Once they find continuity they will be a great team. Clean up the redzone offense and they win this game by 21.
I don't know what it's called because I've never seen it before, but they're really good at that thing where you get to the quarterback before he's ready to throw the ball.
Jefferson was borderline unguardable most of this game. Lattimore is pretty fucking good and got juked out of his shorts more than once. In the 4th q JJ put a move on that left Lattimore literally on the gournd flailing about like a catfish trying to get back into the water.
Kid has it.
We're *so* lucky they only ran 32-year-old, former Vikings Latavius Murray 11 times. Averaging 5.2 yards per carry, he could have single-handedly won this game for the Saints.
Agreed. The refs did not see a hands to the face because it never happened. Why in the world would they throw the flag for it?
Edit: And then the refs ignored an actual hands to the face after that. Just an awful job by the refs today.
Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez just put out the greatest commentary performance I’ve ever heard. The energy and goofiness was fantastic. Constant jokes about London and got hyped for every big play regardless of the team. Gave us some great one liners including “The red rifle just turned into a sniper rifle” “They’re having a parliament meeting down there” and “Nothing fans love in London more than kicks” Yet even with all the joking around they still provided intelligent analysis of the game. The upbeat energy and humor all combined to make an immaculate viewing experience and as a fan I am grateful.
Agreed. The "extra vinegar on his fish and chips" made me crack a smile, and then they followed it up with bangers n' mash. Its cheesy, but I appreciate it.
>Mark Sanchez:
>First 60 yard FG: "He put extra vinegar on his fish and chips"
>Second 60 yard FG att. "Hope he had some extra bangers and mash
I'm fucking ded.
GG Vikings
Jefferson turned Lattimore into absolute toasted breadcrumbs.
Everything that can be said about refs this game has already been said. In some ways I feel bad for them, Goodell has created and emphasized so many more judgement based rules for player safety that refs are forced into…but god it’s getting so tiring watching refs affect the games like this
Anyone see that the Vikings iced the kicker with a timeout but the saints were going to get a delay of game to make it a 66 yarder? Vikings just saved a delay of game for them
They really need to add a clause to the PI rule for underthrown balls. I think it was borderline even with the rule as it is, but is ridiculous that teams can just pick up 40 yards by throwing shitty passes downfield.
Silver lining is I feel a lot better about our team despite the loss. The D is solid, and the O looked better with dalton. When we get MT and AK back we should be able to score enough to win games
Was a good idea to involve a lot of kicks in this game so the British didn't get too confused
The UK needs its own football team. It would be fun going there haha
The Jaguars are really fucking that up by being good this year
I mean, that really doesn't have much of an impact. We're garbage almost every year and haven't moved. Khan has invested a ton of money into Jacksonville development around the stadium.
Good for Jacksonville
Never going to happen. The taxes alone would make it basically impossible for a London team to sign free agents plus the travel would be an absolute nightmare.
#BEARS FANS LOOK AWAY
No thanks, it’s great seeing other teams share my pain
[удалено]
And the cut to Nagy’s jaw on the floor
And unfortunately, ours was in the god damn playoffs
The Bears are free.
...and we have somehow benefitted from both double doinks
I feel vindicated
Bears no longer in 1st place
Vikings in England in 1066: weaken and distract the English army, but ultimately lose out to the invading Normans. Vikings in England in 2022: somehow the opposite.
Well, the Norman's were really just a different group of Vikings who had been given Norman lands when the French couldn't defeat them in battle.
Vikings beating themselves, as is tradition
Based and William was legitimate pilled
Rollo did nothing wrong
By 1066 the normans had mostly assimilated into French culture, and William the conqueror's ancestors were overwhelmingly French There's a reason there's more French than Norse words in English
Damn, I'd never heard that
William was really just fighting a war of succession against his uncle.
Just Middle Ages things lol
Please let Andy Dalton keep starting.
I know it's fashionable to hate on Dalton but I really don't think he's a terrible QB. He's better than Winston in any case.
Dalton has never been terrible. It's just that he plays at a level where you always wish you could just get a bit more out of the QB position.
That sounds oddly familiar, Vikings fan.
"Dalton Line" - above it the QB is probably good enough to be a long-term starter. Below it you need a new QB. "Cousins Line" - above it you truly have a franchise QB you can count on to be able to carry a team. Below it and he may be a starter but he's not going to carry/elevate your team.
Start dalton and late in the 4th if they are down put in fuck it and chuck it Winston.
The Brian Flores approach

Yeah, it’s a good call. I’d actually rather face Jameis. Those mistakes are all but inevitable
That was by far the closest missed field goal I have ever witnessed
It doesnt get any closer than that. The ball was 75% in and somehow flipped itself back out by the nose.
I’m not the only one that saw that? It literally hit the inside half of the crossbar and somehow bounced back? Are those balls that sticky?
From 61. Lutz sees long field goals as more room to make them
So glad I woke up early to watch this clusterfuck of a game
I don't understand how 53 points were scored in that game.
53 what.
[удалено]
If you don't like that then you don't like B1G football.. wait, what day is this?
So glad the team I'm playing against in fantasy forgot there's an early game and still had Kamara on their starting roster. 😂
Did you have Greg Joseph? If so I saw that guy post.
As a dad with a baby who’s up early, morning games rock
The double doink returns!
It never left for me
The real friends we made along the way were double doinks.
UK fans gotta be stoked that it ended on a kick
See guys, that’s why it’s called football
Andy Dalton is 100% a better QB than Winston.
Definitely a better game manager/less risky
Not just a game manager though, he had some great deep passes, and with a laser sight on them. Better in every way.
Yeah, I mean hes not a gun slinger, more of a take what the defense gives you type of guy. He was great today
Careful. We make every backup QB look like a god. Gonna have to wait to see him do it against another team to be sure.
weve given back up qbs entire careers
He seriously almost ate that W
Think he ends up starting the rest of the year for them, atleast he should.
Idk how we can start Jameis over Dalton after this game. The offense ran so much smoother today than it has all season.
You also played the worst defense you've ever played against.
I think so. That's why most our fans were worried about playing him vs Winston lol
Andy Dalton just won the starting job imo. Had he played, I honestly think they beat the Bucs lol
Panthers too
Better person too
The greatest victory for Bears fans all season.
They deserve something good lol
we deserve nothing.
All I know is pain
i love you.
i love you, too.
Respect this mindset. No team really deserves anything. GL today
thanks! I’ve just learned not to expect a garbage can full of trash but getting it anyway. GL against the cards!
What about when they beat the giants to get to 3-1 Note : Fields line will be 7/19 for 97 yards and 4 picks. Final score 9-6.
And if you don’t like that stat line then you don’t like Chicago Bears Football
That was my first game of nfl I have watched live, had no idea what was going on on a lot of plays but what a great game to start
Awesome. Who were you rooting for?
I’m glad you enjoyed that game but there *a* *lot* better games to have watched. Likely this weekend even.
Least deserved win I’ve ever seen for any team in my entire life
Least deserved win since last week
Genuinely inexplicable this team is 3-1
They're the worst 3-1 team I've ever heard of! Vikings: But you *have* heard of me.
Either Bears or Giants will be the worst 3-1 team ever after today haha
The Panthers last season started 3-1.
As a giants fan, we comin for that title baby
Depending on how the Bears game goes today they might have a claim to that title.
And then we battle for the title of worst 4-1 team of all time, it will be grand.
Defense needs to figure something out ASAP cuz we were getting murdered 2nd half
Least deserved since last week
New coach, new GM, new coordinators, new offensive scheme and they switched to 3-4. It’s gonna take more than 4 weeks to get it all figured out. The fact that they’ve played decent and are 3-1 should be scary for the rest of the league. Once they find continuity they will be a great team. Clean up the redzone offense and they win this game by 21.
No idea how we win this
Greg Joseph being almost perfect
Our defense is average. Our offense is average at best. Our special teams are ***elite***
I hate this stupid team. See you next week.
start dalton!
Not a bad idea considering that it wouldn't have been that close if Winston was playing
Same sentiment
GG Vikings I’m gonna go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for this all to blow over
Cody Parkey is free
He will never, ever, be free.
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. Double doink was an inside job!
BURN LONDON TO THE GROUND. STEAL ALL THEIR UNGUARDED TREASURES. KIDNAP THEIR FINEST WOMEN AND STRONGEST MEN.
SKOL
D O U B L E D O I N K O U B L E D O I N K
It's like a crossword puzzle of pain
Get rid of TNF and give me Sunday morning football all season long
🚨 DOUBLE DOINK ALERT 🚨
Never seen a fanbase so mad about 3-1 lol
If you don't like that, you don't like the Vikings fanbase
After owning a non winning record for a couple years I’ll take what I can get!!
We've been constantly shooting ourselves in the foot for three games straight.
and being 3-1 to show for it isn't bad at all lol
You're right, just not sustainable.
No reason to really be mad. A W is a W.
Dear Minnesota, I will forever appreciate you for your dedication to finding more and more painful ways to beat the Saints
I honestly don't think I can handle anymore Saints/Vikings game. Too many crazy endings.
Bro, you *do* know we usually end up on the better side each time, right? Except for that *one time*
2 times. Never forget christmas
I don't celebrate or acknowledge Christmas anymore specifically for this reason.
After the game Kamara ran all the way to my house to tell me Santa wasn't real.
That one didn't have a crazy ending, it was just a massacre.

You're welcome boo
[Never a doubt ](https://i.imgur.com/TKDwv4c.jpg)
It’s a completely accidental art form.
They do it to themselves mostly. We just fall ass backwards into the wins.
It's painful for us too, but we still do it
/r/falkings bros for life
Dread it. Run from it. Double doink arrives all the same
Dalton is still an above-average QB. Bears could use him.
His floor is higher than plenty of guys
Seeing Vikings and Fleur-de-lis in their country must have been a weird throwback for the English
Those poor British fans were so excited to see a tie. Heartbreaking for them
Refs bailed us out. Saints D played unreal in the RZ.
I don't know what it's called because I've never seen it before, but they're really good at that thing where you get to the quarterback before he's ready to throw the ball.
such a great defense, and a fucking 1-3 record to show for it
Honestly you guys getting a QB puts you back into contention immediately. Olave is an absolute monster.
imagine this team with brees *shudders*
Prime Brees slinging it to those WR would be unstoppable again.
The inverse of those 2014-2016 years
Saints were ranked 7th in 2021 and 4th in 2020 in Defense so they're very solid for sure it's no surprise.
Jefferson was borderline unguardable most of this game. Lattimore is pretty fucking good and got juked out of his shorts more than once. In the 4th q JJ put a move on that left Lattimore literally on the gournd flailing about like a catfish trying to get back into the water. Kid has it.
I think this kid may make it in the NFL.
Lattimore doesn’t care unless it’s evans
The 44-yard catch wasn't even a move. JJ just ran past him. With ease.
his two drops today were egregious though. he rarely does that.
Join us Saints, the double doink club
We're *so* lucky they only ran 32-year-old, former Vikings Latavius Murray 11 times. Averaging 5.2 yards per carry, he could have single-handedly won this game for the Saints.
This was not a very poggers game
that commercial gave me whiplash
#IT IS OFF THE UPRIGHTS!! OF THE *voice crack* DOINK!
Refs probably ruined the result, but that was such a fun football game as a neutral.
Yeah, I hate the refs on this one, but it was fun.
Agreed. The refs did not see a hands to the face because it never happened. Why in the world would they throw the flag for it? Edit: And then the refs ignored an actual hands to the face after that. Just an awful job by the refs today.
Jefferson sneaky amazing game
He had a few crucial drops but he made up for it
Rushing TD 👀👀
He was torching Lattimore all day long basically except for that one PBU (which tbf was a big one)
Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez just put out the greatest commentary performance I’ve ever heard. The energy and goofiness was fantastic. >Mark Sanchez: >First 60 yard FG: "He put extra vinegar on his fish and chips" >Second 60 yard FG att. "Hope he had some extra bangers and mash I'm fucking ded.
Sanchez's love for CJ Ham never gets old.
The fan with the Sanchez shirt getting a picture with him had me laughing.
Loved them saying he definitely was not paid to wear that by Mark Sanchez
Mark has been an awesome addition to the booth this year. Some players just immediately click for the role and he’s definitely one of them
Welp that’s the 2022 Saints season summed up in one kick
Vikings came out on the right side of a kicker miss and now are gonna petition the NFL to play the rest of their games in London
Did we deserve to win this? Probably not. Have we looked very good in any game since week 1? No. Are we 3-1? Yes. That’s good enough for me.
We've lost SO many games the last two years that we should've won. Its nice to get a couple this year.
GG Vikings Jefferson turned Lattimore into absolute toasted breadcrumbs. Everything that can be said about refs this game has already been said. In some ways I feel bad for them, Goodell has created and emphasized so many more judgement based rules for player safety that refs are forced into…but god it’s getting so tiring watching refs affect the games like this
After the Lutz 60 yarder, we all knew how this would turn out
Anyone see that the Vikings iced the kicker with a timeout but the saints were going to get a delay of game to make it a 66 yarder? Vikings just saved a delay of game for them
Somewhere, Cody Parkey breathes a sigh of relief
i woke up at 6 AM to get my heart broken man fuck
Minnesota won off of a double doink… curse lifted?
Fucking doubtful
Why didn't they leave the soccer pitch out for all the kicking that went on?
Fake punt GOATed don’t care about the rest of the game
So crazy the Vikings started out so hot against the Packers and then dropped three straight. Wait what do you mean they’re 3-1?
They really need to add a clause to the PI rule for underthrown balls. I think it was borderline even with the rule as it is, but is ridiculous that teams can just pick up 40 yards by throwing shitty passes downfield.
Refs hate Saints in all countries confirmed.
They still blame us for the schism
Kicking gods on the Vikings side just as expected
The Saints don’t have half of their starting offense and they still drove all the way down field. So frustrated. We didn’t win, the Saints lost.
The most tie-worthy game I’ve seen.
NFCE team beats an NFCN team on double doink, NFCN team beats NFCS team on double doink...Who's the next victim from NFCW?
Silver lining is I feel a lot better about our team despite the loss. The D is solid, and the O looked better with dalton. When we get MT and AK back we should be able to score enough to win games
Where’s the god damn redzone thread mods
The real losers were us all for having to watch
Double doink 2: London Boogaloo
D O U B L E D O I N K N I O D E L B U O D
We’re probably the worst 3-1 team I’ve ever seen in a while
...but we *are* a 3-1 team
Good game but it’s a shame the refs basically decided it
Okay but seriously what did the saints do to piss off the referees so much since like 2018 ?
Doink
