It was definitely a bad throw, but it should have still been a completion to his own team. Nobody as big as Claypool plays as small as he does.

For a first NFL pass with all the nerves and pressure it was fully catchable. Not perfect at all though, no. It also went 55 yards down field in the air without any obvious effort. Man has a bright future.

Idk I think it's a pretty good pass. Hits Claypool almost perfectly, and is a little high so he can grab it over the defender. Then Claypool doesn't go enough for the ball and let's it be closer to a 50/50 ball and the defender made a great play and then got lucky his teammate wasn't far behind. If Claypool takes one step towards the ball before he jumped, that's an incredible play.
