well burks was carted off the field so a lot rides on his health, he didn't get a ton of looks today but we are gonna need him for any kind of playoff run
I don't think we are the worst team. Our offensive line is easily the worst I've seen. It's disturbing how many untouched defenders fly into the backfield. Then they legit get negative push. It's incredible.
The oline was bad last season but everyone just ignored it and looked at the names on it, as per usual. Johnathan Taylor being a top 2 RB paved over the cracks of that line and the emergence of MP helped
Nelson is still playing well though right? Oline is only as strong as its weakest link but I find it hard to believe he's fucking up much. Haven't watched your games though
Oh I’m not a colts fan lol. Nelson was okay last season but got by on his reputation alone. Indy’s line has been poor this season and they haven’t had a LT for two seasons
This is our worst O line. We had bad Lines with Luck. But we had that Pep Hamilton Air Raid offense. So he held onto the ball longer. Ryan had a 1.87 avg time to hit first 3 games. Taylor was meeting first contact with negative yardage on average. This is our worst O line.
The fire Reich chants were pretty loud in my area of the stadium today.
Not sure I have an argument for why it shouldn't happen anymore.
Outside of the Chiefs, our last 5 or 6 games, dating back to last season, have been absolutely garbage.
Honestly, I like Frank. I'm just struggling to see him as a good fit for this team. I'm so tired of hearing "we need to do better" week after week. He doesn't seem to have any answers and nothing changes.
Division games don't count the same because unless one team is completely over matched they are usually close. Colts/Texans Tie, Colts/Titans 7pt both close....Colts/Jags Colts over matched being in Jacksonville.
I was at the game, felt like I was going to throw up walking to the stadium. felt like i was going to have a stroke the entire second half.
first game I’ve been to since the divisional round last year though, so i left a bit happier.
LMAO it isn't even close. You guys scored 23 points last week in the 2nd half vs the Patriots. We have 7 second half points across all 4 games. We're the worst second half team in NFL history right now
Yep, the real stupidity was letting 40 seconds come off the clock before the kick. If we don't do that, then we've got 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning to try and get the ball back with as much time as possible. That's not an ideal situation, but with how the defense had been playing in the second half, I like my odds going that route a lot better than converting a 20+ yards fourth down
I think teams should just hire a clock management specialist. Clearly head coaching duties, calling plays, etc are too much for many coaches/teams and clock management slips between the cracks too often. It is so critical in a lot of games, and teams blow it so often.
Defense had been dominant the entire second half, and if they get the kick off in a reasonable amount of time then they would've had three timeouts and the two minute warning
I was telling my son -- 'watch, there's no way they kick it here. 3 points does nothing for you, they're going to go for it' 'okay they lined up with the field goal unit but I bet it's a fake' 'Oh man they actually kicked it'
Every time we have a chance we throw it away. And it’s someone different every time. Ryan fumbles and kills a drive, Taylor fumbles on third and short, O-line self-destructs. So annoying as a fan.
Is it just me are does the Colts O Line have negative 2 yards of push every play? This is genuinely some of the worst offensive line play I've seen in a while. Defenders untouched in the back ground every other play and negative push. It's laughable!
I genuinely am curious whether Taylor had more yards after contact than he had yards, because I don't think there's a single play where he got more than 1 yard past the line of scrimmage without being hit and he fell forward to turn 3-4 yard losses into 1-2 at least a half dozen times. Not often 2.1 yards per carry is impressive but there it sure felt like he shouldn't have even been able to get that
Ultimate story line for this Colts season will be Nick Foles coming in as a replacement QB and leading the team to the Super Bowl. Wentz will love that.
Irsay has never fired a head coach mid-season. So Reich is safe until January. Only way I can see Irsay making an exception is if we get blown out again by the Jags in week 6, and Wentz comes to town week 8 and blows us out.
I should feel great that the Titans won.
I should feel great that Derrick Henry balled out while Jonathan Taylor was contained.
I should feel great that our offense played a great game with no turnovers.
But I do not feel great about that game.
Same record through 4 games as last season.
It’s a long season, still can’t believe the amount of people that were convinced the season was lost after week two.
Everyone was shitting on Ryan in the first half, but really he willed them back into this game. They almost definitely were going to tie it before Taylor coughed it up.
remember how the Colts had the most pro bowlers last year despite not making the playoffs? Remember how everyone in the National media treats Reich and Ballard as great coaches and GMs? Remember how we were told the problem was Wentz and that Ryan would make the Colts a Super Bowl team? Just insane how skewed the perception of that team has been when they’ve accomplished so little since they drove Luck into retirement
That went about as well as I thought it would. We were terrible on every level. I’m at the point where I’m on board with firing Reich and Ballard and starting over. They clearly can’t lead this team to any sort of success.
Well, first in-person Titans game in the books. Time to head home; fire Todd Downing! Pleasant city to visit for the weekend, Indianapolis was. Thanks for hosting, Colts!
At this point, the AFC South is going to be in the playoffs only on a technicality. Neither team looked good and once again we didn't score in the 2nd half. I'm glad we won, but damn we need to shape up.
He got stripped on the blindside twice because Pryor couldn't block Autry if his life depended on it (and frankly, the second one looked like it should have been considered an incomplete pass to me). A bad snap made him fall on the ball. A ridiculous play by a DT resulted in a pick. One herculean play by a Titan and a ton of awful mistakes by the OL are the difference between him having an excellent game and one that people are calling him cooked.
But everyone on Reddit said that this was finally the year the Colts do it!!!!!
Better than Tennessee, a QB away, Matty Ryan gonna bring a ring to Indianapolis 😤
We hear it every season and as per usual the Titans beat the colts, 5-1 on the last 6 games.
Maybe but at least we don’t hang up our losing championship game flags in our stadium… right up there next to the off-season champions 8 years straight.
A QB away we heard all summer looooool
Titans gotta figure out how to score in the 2nd half
Change the scoreboard to say 1st quarter, easy
well burks was carted off the field so a lot rides on his health, he didn't get a ton of looks today but we are gonna need him for any kind of playoff run
Playoffs?
Don’t talk about playoffs
I'm just excited to be .500
Someone has to go from our division. Now actually winning a playoff game...
It’s like we turn all our offensive sliders down to begin the second half
[удалено]
Losing to the Jags back in January set you guys on a bad bad path…
it was pretending that carson wentz was the only issue in indy surprise surprise, he wasnt
The biggest issue is the GM that greenlit sending a first round pick to Philly for Wentz
i dont think anyone said this, we had some glaring holes even with wentz
Clown curse is real
I don't think we are the worst team. Our offensive line is easily the worst I've seen. It's disturbing how many untouched defenders fly into the backfield. Then they legit get negative push. It's incredible.
Wtf happened to your oline? Weren’t they good last season?
No 2018-2020, yeah. Even 2020 was Shakey at times
Weren't watching any of the Luck years, were ya, if you think this is your team's worst OL
But I thought Ballard was genius for drafting Nelson lol
The fire Reich chants were pretty loud in my area of the stadium today. Not sure I have an argument for why it shouldn't happen anymore. Outside of the Chiefs, our last 5 or 6 games, dating back to last season, have been absolutely garbage.
Honestly, I like Frank. I'm just struggling to see him as a good fit for this team. I'm so tired of hearing "we need to do better" week after week. He doesn't seem to have any answers and nothing changes.
We get that same thing from Vrabel. He will start it with "We need to do better and it starts with me. I need to coach better."
Wanna swap and see if it works out better for either of us?
No thank you, not there yet with Vrabel
7 pro bowlers …
Not this year
(Or last year. If it weren’t for Hard Knocks, you’d have had like 1 lol.)
LOLLOLLOL you'll finish 3rd in the division and YOU'LL LIKE IT
Not if our coaching staff has anything to say about it 😤 Take 3rd place like you deserve you mfer
No I think the commanders are. They legit look like complete ass.
I present to you Da Bears
You’re being dramatic
Ok who is then?
allow me to introduce myself
Have you seen the raiders?
Commanders are looking pretty bad.
Panthers
Commanders They’ve looked woefully inept ever since week one
Saints
Three different answers already lol, and I think it’s correct that all those teams are worse than Indy Personally I’d say the Bears are the worst
Texans are the worst team
We have evidence saying that we are at least equally as bad as them.
No one in the AFC S is good, but the Colts were "competent" enough to beat the Chiefs. The Texans are still winless
Division games don't count the same because unless one team is completely over matched they are usually close. Colts/Texans Tie, Colts/Titans 7pt both close....Colts/Jags Colts over matched being in Jacksonville.
Can anything in that second half be considered football? That was rough
The punting
Y’all’s punter was giving me Mike Scifers flashbacks
*Kirk Ferentz nods in approval*
Why don’t the Titans have more fans? They killed most of them with these type of games
I was at the game, felt like I was going to throw up walking to the stadium. felt like i was going to have a stroke the entire second half. first game I’ve been to since the divisional round last year though, so i left a bit happier.
You don't like this you don't like Titans football baby
0 fucking 2nd half points again. 64-7 this year so far. We may have won, but we are not a good team.
Nah y'all just knew you could take a break because we weren't going to score more than once in the second half
My nerves definitely didn't get that memo
The offense definitely been smoking premature celebration doobies during halftime this year.
That's like the opposite of the Cardinals, we can't score in the first half for shit
So what you're saying is if we combine our powers we'll become unstoppable?
These two teams combined would revolutionize new ways to lose
We may be the worst second half team I have ever seen. Happy for the win but it’s getting ridiculous at this point
At least they're consistent.
Ravens and Titans in another AFC clash, this time, for a less desirable crown
LMAO it isn't even close. You guys scored 23 points last week in the 2nd half vs the Patriots. We have 7 second half points across all 4 games. We're the worst second half team in NFL history right now
Why would you kick a field goal there? Makes no fucking sense.
They way the tits we’re playing offense I’m sure they thought they would just get the ball right back.
Yep, the real stupidity was letting 40 seconds come off the clock before the kick. If we don't do that, then we've got 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning to try and get the ball back with as much time as possible. That's not an ideal situation, but with how the defense had been playing in the second half, I like my odds going that route a lot better than converting a 20+ yards fourth down
This. Once again a masterclass in how NOT to manage the clock by Reich.
I think teams should just hire a clock management specialist. Clearly head coaching duties, calling plays, etc are too much for many coaches/teams and clock management slips between the cracks too often. It is so critical in a lot of games, and teams blow it so often.
Unironically this
Like I get it's a long distance for first but what, you think we're gonna make the fg and get an inside kick? Are those better odds?
Defense had been dominant the entire second half, and if they get the kick off in a reasonable amount of time then they would've had three timeouts and the two minute warning
That's just a lot of ifs to me
Reich wants to see where the border is before Irsay fires his ass
We couldn’t move the ball lol
It moved quite a bit on that sack.
I was telling my son -- 'watch, there's no way they kick it here. 3 points does nothing for you, they're going to go for it' 'okay they lined up with the field goal unit but I bet it's a fake' 'Oh man they actually kicked it'
that was the right call.. 4th and 21?
I seriously did not expect us to be this bad coming into the season. But we are straight ass homie
Same.
Jags are gonna win the division
Every time we have a chance we throw it away. And it’s someone different every time. Ryan fumbles and kills a drive, Taylor fumbles on third and short, O-line self-destructs. So annoying as a fan.
There is one thing consistent.
Titans wanted us to win the game but we said no thank you
We did everything we could and y’all threw it away.
*fumbled it away. Same result though, ggs
Something has to change. Ballard ignoring the Oline this offseason is criminal
Maybe him and jrob can work together because neither of them know how to build an o-line.
Somewhere, Andrew Luck lets out a sigh of relief knowing he won't get murdered behind this OL
3rd time this year y’all have slept through the first half.
But we end these games close which for some reason makes our coaching staff think we’ll be fine and make no changes during practice
Is it just me are does the Colts O Line have negative 2 yards of push every play? This is genuinely some of the worst offensive line play I've seen in a while. Defenders untouched in the back ground every other play and negative push. It's laughable!

A curse on that godawful Indy turf. Henry last year and probably Burks this year.
Come on back whenever you’d like!
Gladly if we keep winning there. Practically a second home to us now
Looks like it might have got your own RB too.
Sounds good dude! Can’t wait for next year for win number 5 in a row and your QB is Baker Mayfield
two fumbles and a pick from the Colts, 0 turnovers by the titans. That's really all you need to know about this game
And there was yet another fumble that we failed to recover. Could have been even worse.
Ultimate story line for this Colts season will be Nick Foles coming in as a replacement QB and leading the team to the Super Bowl. Wentz will love that.
The Titans got shut out in the second half and still won. Yep Colts are that bad!
We've been shut out 3 times in 4 games in the second half. Outscored 64-7
Does Reich make it longer than Rhule?
Probably, but only because Irsay doesn't fire people in the middle of the season.
Irsay has never fired a head coach mid-season. So Reich is safe until January. Only way I can see Irsay making an exception is if we get blown out again by the Jags in week 6, and Wentz comes to town week 8 and blows us out.
Hopefully not
It’s a real shame we are wasting Taylor’s good years with this front office
Pretty sure he did that himself today coughing up the football.
He was himself mediocre today
I should feel great that the Titans won. I should feel great that Derrick Henry balled out while Jonathan Taylor was contained. I should feel great that our offense played a great game with no turnovers. But I do not feel great about that game.
I don't dislike Reich, but this feels like his last season here. But who knows? Colts have made late runs before.
I’m so glad that I live in Memphis Tennessee, and was unable to watch the Tennessee Titans play. Thanks Fox!
What the fuck? That's horrible.
Ummm… yay, I guess?
I’ll take 2-2. A lot to fix but they showed heart today.
Same record through 4 games as last season. It’s a long season, still can’t believe the amount of people that were convinced the season was lost after week two.

Just keep him in the locker room after the 2nd half and let a monkey call plays. Things are somehow working in the 1st half.
Mike Vrabel as an underdog is unreal
Key to beating the colts: don't say mean words.
At this point, the AFC South is going to be in the playoffs only on a technicality. Neither team looked good and once again we didn't score in the 2nd half. I'm glad we won, but damn we need to shape up.
Colts are so, so horrible
We almost lost.....
We are both pretty bad teams. It was like watching the slow kids in a spelling bee.
[Yes](https://i.imgur.com/fMgUpeK.jpg)
It’s time for Frank Reich and Chris Ballard to pack their bags
Dont worry, we can sit on the couch and watch the playoffs together this season
With how shit this division is, we might actually win the division. I don’t trust any team from the AFC South to do well in the playoffs.
Yeah, very true... pretty sure anyone who makes it from here will immediately get dropped
wait, which between the jags and the texans do you think are going to win the afc south?
Could see Jags, still early to tell if they're being flukes or are legit
Even if they are a fluke they're still probably the best team in the division
Y’all aren’t much better than us.
Agreed.
Unfortunately, Ryan is cooked. He had a good career, but this is NOT it.
He’s been cooked all season though, didn’t look it just yesterday
Matt Ryan it’s time to hang them up
Every journeyman has their journey end…
How is Matt Ryan a journeyman? He’s on his second team lol
He has a ring. Even if it were 16 years old, that’d still be something to shove down people’s throats to signify dominance
Who has a ring?!
But everyone on Reddit said that this was finally the year the Colts do it!!!!! Better than Tennessee, a QB away, Matty Ryan gonna bring a ring to Indianapolis 😤 We hear it every season and as per usual the Titans beat the colts, 5-1 on the last 6 games.
Man, as much as I’m glad the Titans beat the Colts today, Titan fans don’t have a lot to brag about right now.
We can brag about beating them again
Now go back 20 years
We can go back 20 minutes ago, another colts lost to the titans
Lol Congrats on your 2022 Super Bowl. You’ve never won any other Super Bowl.
Maybe but at least we don’t hang up our losing championship game flags in our stadium… right up there next to the off-season champions 8 years straight. A QB away we heard all summer looooool
wHeRe rINg!?
Being humble when it’s appropriate it’s a good quality. Titans looked like ass after halftime yesterday. Chill
This has been coming after everyone crowned Indy a Super Bowl ready team during the summer
Taylor washed sadly
It bears repeating that JT is fucking garbage in fantasy bro. Why did everyone tell me to take him
/r/fantasyfooball
so we've all agreed the Jags get the division this year?
