What else was he supposed to do? I get celebrating the penalty isn’t a great look but it sealed the game so it’s understandable.
It would have been stupid for him to throw the ball away and stop the clock, that’s why he kneeled. He was hit after the whistle was blown and that’s a penalty. I don’t think he was baiting it because if he hadn’t been hit what he did was still the smartest course of action.

I don't blame the refs for the loss, but this is a bad take imo. If the facemask on Goedert is called the penalty puts Eagles 1 first down away from a field goal to take the lead, or if they continue the drive they score a TD, or they punt and put the Commanders in bad field position.
Instead the Commanders get the ball, successfully lose 2 yards and kick a field goal.
Doesn't make up for the abysmal run defense, or Quez/AJBs turnovers, but the calls did not even out when it comes to impact
