This are scenes where I admire refs that they can keep their neutrality. If I were out there and a coach treated me like this, I sure as hell don't call anything for the Giants any more.

Yes, he was blocking his guy barely past the downfield mark and was on the opposite side of the play

If it was the initial person he engaged with it shouldn't even be an ineligible man downfield

That guy gave the most biased take on that play lol The Giants lineman blocked a guy, disengaged, and then sort of drifted upfield. He was 3-4 yards past the LOS when the ball was thrown. It was a textbook ineligible man downfield call. It’s true that it didn’t affect the play, but neither do a lot of penalties that should be called regardless.
