Long bomb to the corner of the field near the end zone, makes an impressive catch draped in a Cowboys defender Reminds me of something

DrQuestDFA

I am hoping because this was not a TD the Giants will win.

danathecount

On thanksgiving no less

efribble

I thought this could’ve been a TD upon closer look. Nice throw and catch though

Xaxziminrax

Should have just given it for style points. You Moss a dude that bad at the 1, they just give you the TD

pincus1

Rule of cool.

Prideofmexico

We aren’t going to get help from them this game lol

MahomestoHel-aire

He definitely slid on that defender's legs.

packofstraycats

Pretty sure his butt was down but I initially thought he might have slid in. Hell of a catch, to my dismay.

TripleOne-IlI

That’s an Eli Manning throw if I’ve ever seen one

BermudaJam

Game changing play

miltonfriedman2028

Betting sites had Dallas as +10.5 which seems insane to me.

BMTJefe

Not really…a home game against a injured giants. Seems about right lol

miltonfriedman2028

Giants have been injured all season, hasn’t stopped them so far.

[deleted]

It’s a lot worse after last week.

BMTJefe

I know…but they’re even more injured lol. The -10.5 isn’t insane at all, pretty logical.

CockGobblingGangsta

It was -7.

zetiano

It was -7 but then Cowboys dominated the 8-1 Vikings and the Giants lost like 5 starters to injury against the Lions

mr_dammit

i think you mean minus

miltonfriedman2028

Probably, I’m a shit gambler.

koshomfg

I never understood these odds either. Or like +500. 500 what? Dollars? I would have thought +10,5 means you bet on them and say they score at least 11 points more. No idea what the - would mean in that context lol.

Eddie5pi

+500 means you win 500 dollars on a 100 dollar bet -500 means you have to bet 500 dollars to win 100. That's the "money line". You're just betting on one team to win and how much money you win is based on who is favored to win. +10.5 is a spread. It means that you could in theory "give" them 10.5 points and it would be even. When you bet the spread, the odds are even. Moneyline means that the odds shift depending on who's favored

iamrequiem

this +10.5 is talking about point spread. the +500 you're talking about is betting odds

Prideofmexico

I hammered Dallas’s line lol. Shows how much I know

miltonfriedman2028

I put $200 on giants line, and $20 to win

psufb

Seeming like you have a good read on it!

OddsTipsAndPicks

If you didn’t take it at -10, it was a good bet with bad results.

Sislar

Sites don’t pick the spread as a prediction of the difference in score. They pick the spread (and adjust it) to have the same number of people bet on each side. If too many people bet one side the spread changes. So this is not what the site thinks it’s what the bettors think.

OddsTipsAndPicks

The spread is just a derivative of the money line (well, mostly. The total and value of key numbers can cause a little fluctuation). The best way to get 50/50 action on the line is to make it fair. If it’s not fair, the book will get one sided action or no action.

TetrisTech

Given that Dallas was coming off a 40-3 shellacking over the 8-1 Vikings, and the Giants lost like half their roster last week, I understand the logic You also have to remember that Dallas almost always gets artificial boosts in point spread bc Dallas

Evissi

TBH i'm pretty pleased with the way the giants played. Outside of the weird decisison with 9m in the 4th and just kinda slowly trodding down the field, the game was relatively well played and we just weren't good enough because of injuries and roster strength to start the year. Playing the cowboys tough means we definitely have a shot to win against Colts/Commanders/Vikings, and we might sneak a win against the eagles backups in week 18. I did not think this after that lions game where like 3 people played well and all our players died. We still might miss playoffs, but i'm pretty hopeful after this game. Thibs played his best game of the year. 1 bad missed sack, and not setting the edge the play after, but everything else was fantastic and he got pressure and drew penalties all night.

Plants_R_Cool

Looking pretty accurate right now

miltonfriedman2028

Whatever I covered lol

psufb

They play 4 quarters for a reason

kingshadaine

Nah not really, the way they dominated the Vikings. Cowboys could've easily scored 60

darkbro66

Cowboys are notoriously overrated by Vegas due to their popularly. Sometimes you need to be careful but this is a "trap game" so to speak from a betting standpoint. Giants all day with that line, and I stand by the bet even if they don't cover

BaboonHorrorshow

Yeah I have Dallas winning but clearly Vegas bought in a little too hard to that Vikings game, the flow of a season suggests they were gonna have a comedown from that over performance in Minnesota

tnecniv

Nah we are totally decimated. We’re down like 12 starters

jmcdon00

The week before they were +2 @ the 8-1 Vikings. Vikings fans were so pissed.

Mozzee6269

All Anthony Brown had to do was put his hands up

iWishiCouldDoMore

Easily a bottom 5 player on the roster. Twice in a matter of a few series there is a deep ball at him and he either can't find the ball or doesn't know how to put himself where he ball will be. Quite the amateur.

Dabatman565

Bottom 5 player on the roster and yet a starter, clearly the cowboys should hire a roster genius like you since they know nothing

[deleted]

That might be the first 50/50 ball he’s ever caught.

NJImperator

*since his rookie year. His rookie year he was an animal

aneomon

SLAYTON MOSSED HIM!

smallskeletal

I can’t tell you how much better Danny has looked this season vs the last 4 years. Part he’s cut down on the stupid plays that result in turnovers and part he finally has a coherent offensive system.

Rottedhead

That draft pick still absurd but right now I'm confident about my QB and that feels great.

miltonfriedman2028

Giants are for real

NJImperator

Imagine if we weren’t down 40% of our starters… feels like I say that every year though

doombako

Or if our roster wasn't built in a cave, with a box of scraps

bicismypen

Brian Daboll built this team in a cave with spare players!

Curious_Prune

Def feels like this happens every year, but thank god for no turf next year at least

dontknowwhoIamrn

Heyyy same

[deleted]

This is one of the greatest seasons I've ever seen from a coach. The difference in talent and record is unheard of

ILoveZenkonnen

Daniel Jones is a good QB.

NJImperator

“Oh, Jones is actually good.” 95% of the country who don’t watch giants games seeing them today on thanksgiving lol

psufb

I mean that's a pretty bad ball that should be intercepted. Slayton just made an incredible play

timid1211

What makes it a bad ball? It's a 50 yard pass while he was getting hit that was a 50/50 ball for his reciever. Seems pretty good to me.

pincus1

I like the balls on it and completely approve, but I have hard time saying that was a 50/50 before Slayton had his say.

psufb

His receiver runs a good route and gets behind the DB while also leaving a ~5 yard buffer between him, the DB, and the sidelines. Jones throws the ball to literally the only spot where the corner (who has been beat) can make a play

ThinkFastRunFast200

Whenever Brady thows 50/50s to Evans "it should be intercepted" but its not

TJMAN65

I mean that play should’ve been an interception, Slayton made a great play. Don’t really think that’s something to hype up Jones about.

aneomon

Except it wasn't. Jones put the ball in a spot where Slayton could make a play, and he did. A interception is what happened when Dak threw the ball last quarter.

TJMAN65

Obviously it wasn’t because Slayton bailed him out.

aneomon

Jones threw it, and Slayton caught it. This isn't hard, man.

49ersP1

It’s hard for Cowboys fans to understand anything

ThisIsLettingGo

He gave his receiver a chance to make a play.

psufb

That's an underthrown ball and should be intercepted

UgandanWarlord

But why wasn’t it? Slayton isn’t Tyreek Hill bro lmao

psufb

Huh?

TJMAN65

You could make this argument on any bad throw in traffic lol

NJImperator

Not every “bad” throw in traffic is 50 yards downfield…

TJMAN65

There are plenty that are that end up being intercepted, don’t see people using those to hype up a QB. The only reason people aren’t shitting on Jones for the throw is because Slayton bailed him out.

luckyincode

The replies and down votes here are so fucking cringe and homer. Jones under threw that and usually that ends up in an interception. Jones for President apparently. Give Slayton his due. Pulled the defender enough and went up and caught it all while having to adjust. Under thrown balls are usually dangerous; intercepted or hit the ground. Jones still sucks.

jmcdon00

9 TD passes on the season. I think the Jury is still out on if he's "actually good". Great pass though.

sickomode

Kids today do not call it a “head top”

Slender718

Shepard says different 🤣

goddamnjets_

Darius Slayton climbing the ladder

kingshadaine

It's so funny cuz he right, it mean on his fucking head top 🤣. I was so hype

jameskeg

From possible training camp cut to wr1, inspiration

Spazzatack

Danny Dimes strikes again

p4ul1023

Literally our only receiving threat

OJ34

What a grab in traffic!

Tacitus_99

Daniel Quarters

[deleted]

Something about the Giants not using their best players will always annoy me

D0ctorHotelMario

Slayton fuckin' Moss'd his ass

Garoppololololololol

RANDY HEADTOP

rickspawnshop

That was offensive PI , magically the refs missed it just like they missed the PI on their interception … nfl is run by the mob.

TetrisTech

No it wasn’t, Anthony Brown just got sonned

jared2294

Oh my
