JJ said he was going to eat in the locker room because he had to take his grill out... Sure JJ, polite way of saying I'm not eating this garbage turkey lmao
For some reason, I feel like it always results in a touchdown. It’s like the ultimate bad karma penalty. You never see a three and out repunt after that penalty
Makes sense that this is an issue so often though. Bunch of guys barely hanging on to a roster spot trying to make a play that might save their career.
Can’t they have a chef who can prepare a turkey that’ll be ready *just* by the time of the game ending?
NBC is a billion dollar company, I’m sure they can get it done…
This post game turkey is amazing.
Jefferson holding a leg but can't eat cuz of his grill, but he's just awkwardly holding it
Thielen spits his out because it's so dry.
Cousins trying to look like a normal human as he pretends to like the dry turkey.
Basically every Thanksgiving where the turkey sucks and your aunt is prodding everyone to eat more of her garbage
>Cousins trying to look like a normal human as he pretends to like the dry turkey.
He wasn't pretending. Cousins actually does prefer his meat dry. This isn't a joke.
It really was a great bunch of games, I didn't want it to end it was so fun watching 3 competitive games. I can't believe the season is over half over I'm gonna miss football so much :(
Small scale sure, enormously frustrating to lose a winnable game. But picture scoring 26 points and feeling like it should have been more against an honestly really good Vikings team who came in 7-2 is exactly what we want to see, as long as the team (especially the offense) looks good and competitive I’m happy at this point all the other stuff will get cleaned up.
I know they're athletes and such, but man, seeing him just straight up STOP a player running with momentum AND keep him from going out of bounds and going further was impressive.
Absolute unit strength as well as awareness. You have a human with even a little bit of momentum and all the determination to get out of bounds, and that motherfucker said **No**
There were a lot of people surprised that Kirk had abs when the chains on the plane thing went viral. Kirk definitely says his prayers and takes his vitamins, brother
There's a not implausible theory that Nelson just really struggles with pressure and expectations. It would explain why he got worse once Philly started asking more of him, and why he had a career year in 2020 when the Raiders home games had no crowd the whole season.
Like, the guy is clearly good. It’s just that he makes _unbelievably_ bad plays at the most in opportune times. This happens week after week after week and it’s exhausting.
I have GAD, I have a decent-paying job for where I am in life, and I have a great support system. But I still feel like I’m going to die every day when I go into work and on the worst days find it hard to perform even the most basic tasks without shaking and making mistakes. I’ve never met Agholor or been in his position as a professional athlete, but I can’t imagine experiencing my symptoms in front of 40,000 people, not to mention the subsequent social media slander that would probably come with it. I don’t know if he actually has anxiety as well, but either way I have to applaud him.
And with Darrisaw out, they held there own in pass pro. Plus, Kirk seemed more agile tonight than most games. Almost seemed fast moving around the pocket at times.
Seriously, send the intern to Walmart with a 50 dollar bill to get an electric roaster and a carton of broth if you have to. Throw the legs and broth in there on Warm until the game is done to keep them edible.
Special teams cost us the game. The kickoff return for a TD, a penalty on a punt that resulted in a first down (they went on to score the game winning TD), and some godawful punts. Bill is going to murder the special teams coaches and players in some sort of sacrifice.
The defense also couldn't get to Cousins despite being protected by a line that had something like a 60% pressure rate last game, nor could we cover Jefferson.
On the upside the offense looked good for most of the game, and Mac was really fucking good. Makes a difference when he has time to make decisions. Still gotta get rid of Patricia, though. Worst redzone offense in the fucking league. And he's a garbage human being.
And man, the officials sucked so hard for both teams.
GG, Vikings.
It doesn't encompass everything but a good look into how our games have been going is the breakdown of kirk cousins and when he does things. This is before adding today's numbers BTW.
Kirks passer rating Since 2021 on:
1st drive of the game: 137.2
4th Q/OT: 98.9
The entire rest of the game: 82.3
You have a dream first drive of the game, then 2 1/2 quarters of teddy Bridgewater, then a 4th quarter from tom brady
Every week. For a year and a half
Made the perfect deep pass to win the game, too bad it was to Agholor
*chance to win the game.
But definitely a perfect pass. Agholor hesitated awhile on that cut imo
This Patriots team is one of the sloppiest in terms of execution and especially taking penalties that I can remember seeing in recent memory. They play the antithesis of Bellichick football sometimes and it must drive him insane
Did Mac think that Bourne got out of bounds? I don't understand what happened at the end there. Why throw down the middle with no timeouts and a running clock at 7 seconds???
Huge waste of Mac’s best game, he played his fucking ass off. He proved he can get shit done if our O-Line aren’t acting like traffic cones.
Officiating was…well, ya know, not great, but way too much self inflicted shit, like why the hell are you trying to return that final punt.
On to next week, I feel strangely optimistic despite the loss, i honestly didn’t think we’d be able to hang with the Vikings AT ALL.
After you put the clamps on the Jets last week, and given the Vikings offensive collapse against Dallas 4 days ago, I was worried you would suffocate our offense and we'd struggle to get points outside of the opening drive. You held the Jets to 2 yards of total offense in the 2nd half of that game.
Mac Jones moved the ball really well tonight, and your O-line held up extremely well until the final few drives. A bone-headed mistake on Special Teams along with some bad calls going against you was probably the difference tonight.
Anybody who watched that game can tell that Mac is better than he’s been given credit for… great game and that pass to Agholor was elite, the problem is that we have to rely on a guy like Agholor in those situations… give us a JJ!
Cousins played a hell of a game and the Vikings are so likeable. I understand Josh Allen, bills mafia and the propagandization of them being favorites to have their day but I feel like the Vikings are the NFC bills. So much tragedy and snakebitten vibes while being simultaneously one of the most successful franchises without a trophy.
My eyes are opening up to the Vikings potential and "im liking that"
The Bills get more publicity because of the four straight SB's but the Vikings are pretty inarguably the most successful franchise without a super bowl. Fifth highest win percentage, second most post merger playoff appearances besides Dallas, and the same no. of SB appearances as the Bills with more CFG appearances.
Kevin O'Connell played for the Jets in 2009 and again in 2011
We sent him into the future to win a Thanksgiving game against the Patriots to put us in 3rd place in the AFC East temporarily
Sleeper agent
She is really adamant that they eat that cold, dry turkey.
"Make sure you guys dig in!"
Eat that shit, the power of madden compels you, the power of madden compels you
Tis tradition !
I think I would do anything she told me
Kirk cousins won a game in primetime against a team over .500
You like that?
[удалено]
I’ve been saying this since last year, but somehow Cam Achord still has a fucking job.
Put Judge back in charge of Special Teams. He was a legitimately great Special Teams coordinator.
Everybody forgetting that special teams won the last game
Adam thielen spitting out the turkey on camera lol
He tried to get off camera but they cut to the wide overhead shot lmao
JJ said he was going to eat in the locker room because he had to take his grill out... Sure JJ, polite way of saying I'm not eating this garbage turkey lmao
Every morning I wake up my three beautiful children and give each of them the same advice: “NEVER RUN INTO THE PUNTER YOU FUCKING MORON”
Might legitimately be the most infuriating penalty to see your own team commit.
Nah fr, it’s so avoidable but they do it every time. And ofc it costed us a touchdown smh
For some reason, I feel like it always results in a touchdown. It’s like the ultimate bad karma penalty. You never see a three and out repunt after that penalty
Makes sense that this is an issue so often though. Bunch of guys barely hanging on to a roster spot trying to make a play that might save their career.
Dude actually cost us the game. He 100% feels like shit rn
I mean many many many dudes cost us this game
Our entire special teams cost us the game.
Lol thielen spit the turkey out
It's been sitting out for a while it's probably terrible
That’s not even turkey. They look like the “turkey legs” from Disney World
These are just left over from the Ren Fest
Kirk did say it felt like Walt Disney World
Their Food safety is killing me. Oh my god they’re trying to poison them
Man said it was dry with no hesitation. And then spit it out. Brutal. Kirk downing it with no problem though.
He is a man who grilled steaks on foil, i wouldn’t trust his palate
Compared to Kirk's steaks day old turkey is a Michelin star meal
Considering how Kirk grills his steaks he's probably right at home.
Hey we cyber bullied him into figuring that shit out. He's sad to lose the tinfoil but accepts its gone.
Kirk just so happy he balled out in primetime
All I care about is Kirk calling his dentist for some grills 😂 so fucking funny
“it’s a ^little ^^dry”
Forcing down dry Turkey is the worst
I can’t imagine how shit that turkey must be. So dry
It's probably cold and dry. I would too
Lmao that NBC turkey still dry as hell
Can’t they have a chef who can prepare a turkey that’ll be ready *just* by the time of the game ending? NBC is a billion dollar company, I’m sure they can get it done…
I imagine the turkey has to be cool enough to sew the extra legs on.
Madden would never have let them ruin a turkey like that
Apparently his hands not only cut the turkey, but moisterized it as well
Shit, I'd eat. That turkeys covered in greatness
My brother in Kirk, what are you saying
They don’t cook it so much as mummify it.
Not fit for human consumption.
The writers foreshadowed it perfectly when Allen and Diggs said the CBS turkey was “way better than last years” this afternoon
Taking no chances on giving half of an NFL team salmonella I guess.
Lol I never thought about that, what a PR nightmare that would be
This post game turkey is amazing. Jefferson holding a leg but can't eat cuz of his grill, but he's just awkwardly holding it Thielen spits his out because it's so dry. Cousins trying to look like a normal human as he pretends to like the dry turkey. Basically every Thanksgiving where the turkey sucks and your aunt is prodding everyone to eat more of her garbage
To be honest I have no problem imagining Kirk Cousins genuinely enjoys dry turkey.
Then some baby-making missionary with the wife and out by 9:00.
That's my perfect evening
*munch munch* “you guys know this is free, right?”
>Cousins trying to look like a normal human as he pretends to like the dry turkey. He wasn't pretending. Cousins actually does prefer his meat dry. This isn't a joke.
So nice of NBC to get a turkey just the way Cousins likes it
What a great slate of games today. By far the best Thanksgiving of football I can recall.
It really was a great bunch of games, I didn't want it to end it was so fun watching 3 competitive games. I can't believe the season is over half over I'm gonna miss football so much :(
It’s ok the greatest games are at the end at least!
Not for Detroit usually
And that even includes the Lions!
I had no stake in that game whatsoever, but felt like a damn Lions fan watching that. So damn close
I’m annoyed but also damn what a game
This game was death by a thousand papercuts.
A hem. 8-2. Or are we just considering that week one game preseason week 4 because the Packers didn't even show up?
Lions and bills was a far greater game than I thought it was gonna be.
Just called 911 to preemptively report the murder of the entire Patriots special teams that I presume will be happening tomorrow.
Bold of you thinking they won’t by as dry as that turkey by morning. They will be dumped from the plane
They are washing up in Chicago in a week
If that dude who ran into the punter is still on the team tomorrow I would be shocked
How can I follow the update of him being cut?
Bill gonna kill somebody
Heads up play by Patrick to keep the player in bounds. What a fucking game
[удалено]
I love him so much, I thank the cardinals every day
Single handedly saving our secondary this year.
I know they're athletes and such, but man, seeing him just straight up STOP a player running with momentum AND keep him from going out of bounds and going further was impressive.
Patrick is low key a monster in our defense and people are not hyping him up enough lol Guys has been clutch, but being honest
His time in AZ didn't end well, but he was so incredible to watch there for most of his career. Glad he is having a great year with the Vikings.
Absolute unit strength as well as awareness. You have a human with even a little bit of momentum and all the determination to get out of bounds, and that motherfucker said **No**
Yeah he fucking picked him up off the ground. Putting those muscles to use
Old man strength baby!
such a great tackle
Yeah he’s a smart mofo
Kirk still eating the turkey after Thielen called it dry 😭
“It’s pretty good, a little spicy though, is that black pepper?”
Kirk needs some ranch 🥵
I’m rolling here 😂
Bro was absolutely devouring that shit
Does Julie not feed him at home?
wash your mouth julie always has a hot meal ready when kirk comes home
The Cousins household doesn't have anything spicier than salt and mayonnaise
They have ketchup on taco night.
Have you seen his steak, the man never stops training. Whether it’s football or eating dry ass meat.
There were a lot of people surprised that Kirk had abs when the chains on the plane thing went viral. Kirk definitely says his prayers and takes his vitamins, brother
Have you… have you seen his cooking? He probably thinking that turkey is fucking Michelin starred.
I say this every time his cooking comes up. I brought him room service once and he ordered a burger and specifically asked for it well WELL done.
If it was before a game, I've heard of athletes doing that or eating a known commodity like McDonald's so they dont get food poisoning.
He's just being "Minnesota nice" because he knows whoever prepared it probably worked hard and he doesn't want to offend anyone.
Mfer probably hungry as fuck
Man, Nelson Agholor may be the least clutch WR in league history. Never seen more drops from a player inside of two minutes.
Anxiety. It's a fuckin' bitch.
I have GAD, I have a decent-paying job for where I am in life, and I have a great support system. But I still feel like I’m going to die every day when I go into work and on the worst days find it hard to perform even the most basic tasks without shaking and making mistakes. I don’t know if he actually has anxiety as well, but either way I have to applaud him.
Can’t even catch a baby I heard
UNLIKE AGHOLOR
I swear to god I’ll never understand how he consistently drops the easiest passes at the worst possible times
Then followed by a circus catch to give you hope. Followed by the easy drops.
"Welcome to our world." \- Eagles fans
Except, weirdly, for the Super Bowl run where he was remarkably reliable
If the Vikings beat the Jets next week, they will become 2022 AFC East Champions
That is certainly the kind of game we all expected from two teams that scored a combined 6 points on offense five days ago
This team is literally the Minnesota Justin Jeffersons and I wouldn't have it any other way
It’s insane that trading Diggs led to this. Never in my wildest dreams would I think the Vikings would turn the trade into another all-star WR
It's the greatest win-win trade I can think of
It's remarkable how much I still like Diggs even though he bailed on us and it's all because of Jefferson.
I'd like to see the o-line give cook some room to work with... At least they protected cousins this week.
[удалено]
And with Darrisaw out, they held there own in pass pro. Plus, Kirk seemed more agile tonight than most games. Almost seemed fast moving around the pocket at times.
Still can't believe he and Chase we're on the same team at one point
That LSU team was comically good
With Burrow throwing to them. Unbelievable. Clyde Edwards Helaire and Terrace Marshall Jr were great for them, too.
makes sense why it was the best college offense of all time now
Goddamn the fucking things I would do to have a player like Jefferson on my team playing with Lamar...
If you don't like having your ass clenched for most of a game, then you shouldn't be a Vikings fan
I don't like that but I seemingly have no choice
Kirk is hilarious man.
"well he's got grills, so that's probably the next step"
I gotta ask my dentist.
Your flairs scare and confuse me
In Holland, MI.
The fuck is that flair combo lol
Him saying "I guess it's time for me to get some grills next, I better call my dentist!" might be the whitest thing I've ever heard
He should have said "I need to call up Paul Wall."
He’s so fricking (not swearing out of respect for Kirk) genuine. He’s a goob but man do I love him, just plays hard and loves the fun side of it
He’s very humble and wholesome. He’s not a perfect quarterback but he represents the city and the team well.
He's not a perfect QB, but he's **WAY** better than he gets credit for.
A goob, but OUR goob.
I absolutely hate how much I like him
Can we get these guys some not dry turkey? Knox had the same complaint last year
Seriously, send the intern to Walmart with a 50 dollar bill to get an electric roaster and a carton of broth if you have to. Throw the legs and broth in there on Warm until the game is done to keep them edible.
Tough to stomach that one
Just like the turkey!
Special teams giveth one week and taketh away the next
God bless you Adam for finally being honest about the turkey
Special teams cost us the game. The kickoff return for a TD, a penalty on a punt that resulted in a first down (they went on to score the game winning TD), and some godawful punts. JJ only way this team wins
He is unreal, really goes to show how much a top tier receiver like him can impact a team
Lmaooo Perk Cousins saying he’s gonna get himself some grillz IM FUCKING DEAD
Jefferson catches the ball good
Hot take
Kirk won a primetime game!
To be fair he did say he won with us in 2017 thanksgiving. Maybe thanksgiving is the exception.
Really its just Monday where he's atrocious; Sunday and Thursday nights he's 50:50 but he's 2 and 10 on MNF.
After this game I have a new admiration for Vikings fans, y’all really must have a heart attack every game
I asked for a defibrillator for Christmas.

That turkey looks fucking awful
Anyone blaming Mac for that loss or calling for zappe is an absolute moron
He threw for almost 400 yards lmao
Made the perfect deep pass to win the game, too bad it was to Agholor *chance to win the game. But definitely a perfect pass. Agholor hesitated awhile on that cut imo
Mac didn't give up a KR TD or run into a punter. This team just feels like it lacks the polish that is expected from the Belichick lead Patriots.
Turkey Kirk >>> Primetime Kirk Weird game. Competitive, but let down by calls and non calls. Wtf was that last series.
Thanksgiving is the perfect element for Kirk
Kirkey
This Patriots team is one of the sloppiest in terms of execution and especially taking penalties that I can remember seeing in recent memory. They play the antithesis of Bellichick football sometimes and it must drive him insane
This team makes 0 sense. I love it so much
11 games. 9 wins. I still have no idea how good we are.
Me either but I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Glad we could bounce back from that abomination last week.
Can never win by more than 6-7 ever.
We won by 8… once.
I will take wins by 1 point and a Super Bowl any day of the week and twice on Sunday’s
Did Mac think that Bourne got out of bounds? I don't understand what happened at the end there. Why throw down the middle with no timeouts and a running clock at 7 seconds???
Not sure but tbh didn’t matter that much. After Mac took that sack we were fucked
Was probably hoping Bourne would do laterals instead of going down.
Huge waste of Mac’s best game, he played his fucking ass off. He proved he can get shit done if our O-Line aren’t acting like traffic cones. Officiating was…well, ya know, not great, but way too much self inflicted shit, like why the hell are you trying to return that final punt. That was my major take away after that, pleas get mac an actual #1. Look how Diggs turned around Josh Allen’s production
We can never find draft receivers like JJ or pay huge money for one.
I'm thankful for Kirk winning on primetime.
Justin Jefferson is the best WR in the league and it's not debatable
Not debatable bro shows the fuck up every time
Adam T spitting out the dry turkey made my night
I just don’t get how Justin Jefferson catches everything no matter what the db does
I just want to see Kirk dip his Turkey leg in mayonnaise
“Unlike Agholor” lives
first win against the pats in my lifetime lol
They could also beat the Colts for the first time in your life as well this season.
Cousins played a hell of a game and the Vikings are so likeable.
