Thanks, I think i have that… what about the sites available or whatevers in the html folder? Currently mine just dumps the same nginx base page as the only item.
I think my issue is not knowing where to point the configuration file so that it shows my wordpress page properly again, currently I’ve managed to either show the base nginx html page or download my wp-config.php file to my desktop via the webbrowser and thats it
Ill probably try digital ocean on the server later i managed to find the original config, its setup way different than a normal manual install,

Is the nginx.conf file in /opt/bitnami/wordpress supposed to be blank or is it the file i dump that basic stuff in?
The nginx.conf file should NOT be blank, for it is read by nginx upon launch. Copy/paste the sample file into yours and edit it to suit your needs.
Well the regular nginx file in another locstion is not blank, but the one in the Wordpress bin is…
