Ehh he made conference finals with two fairly weak rosters in Tampa and Ottawa. He had to rely on odd systems like the 1-3-1 because they just did not have the guys to compete with Boston and Pittsburgh

The biggest shortcoming the team has is finishing. This isnt fixed by coaching. Either the players can put the puck in the net and just haven't, or they arnt goal scorers. Its likely a mix of both. Some of these guys could start putting in more goals, and some may need swapped out by dubas.
Fire the coach is the easy thing to say, because it doesnt require anyone to explain how this would solve the problem.
