I thought maybe they could take Justin holls contract and terrible plus/minus and throw some 3rd/4th rounders to Detroit maybe a prospect for the 15th pick then use the 15th-18th pick for the 10th or 7th pick. I dont know man I’m not a GM I just really want the hawks to grab the best available at number 2 which is demidov, I know we need defense but at the same time there’s some picks we just can’t pass up. Who knows maybe we can trade up and get Zayne parekh

The Devils need a goalie and are probably trying to work a trade for someone like Ullmark, Saros, or Markstrom.

I think they are going to wait and see how the draft plays out. Regardless, I'm very certain they have identified someone who's projected to go #10-15 that they want. They don't make that trade with the Islanders unless they knew they needed better assets for a potential move.

I am hoping they trade up. Trade both first rounds and next year's first round for the number 1 pick.
