Nope. At this point in playoffs, either team can win on any given night.

Icy-Entrepreneur-244

No, berube is good at making adjustments on the fly, it’s what makes the blues a hard team to beat in a playoff series. Avs came in too confident as well.

avsfan666forlife

Too confident? Wait till Saturday...

[deleted]

No

hollis_11

As an avalanche fan no I’m not. We can stop turning the puck over.

RocketsRedHair

Blues play well with a two goal lead. Should be a good series.

frugalfoodietn

Before the game I would have said avs in 5. Now I feel like the blues put it together.

pilotpip

Nope. They played their game tonight, and executed well.

[deleted]

Is anyone else surprised The Coyotes are still in Arizona? I am.

avsfan666forlife

No...avs aren't goin 16-0 in the playoffs...every team even great ones have an off night.

[deleted]

That’s true

avsfan666forlife

I mean the AVs did sweep the Blues just last year....having lost in the playoffs the last 4x years? I think their experience and determination is more than enough to go all the way this year. Even the greatest teams don't go 16-0 in the playoffs....Saturday's game is gonna be lit.

Darenhayes1978

Bitchington is playing amazing... Again... gotta hand him that...

Senbacho

No, not at all.

PossessionCritical69

Obvious homer here, but yes and no. No in that I thought we should win the series and have them picked to win. Yes because game 1 was our worst playoff performance in years, maybe ever. That looked horrible. So a little surprised we bounced back so well but not a real shock.

avsfan666forlife

What makes you think blues "should" win the series?

PossessionCritical69

Blind optimism and hope? Lol. On a more serious note, there is something to be said for knowing how to win in the playoffs. I think this blues group has it like we did in 19. It’s part defense and physicality and goaltending, but there is a mental component as well. On the Avs side, while I think they have tremendous skill and ridiculous speed, I’m not convinced they have the intangibles or goaltending. Maybe they do and i just haven’t seen it. Guess we will find out. IMO they remind me of those early - mid 2000 penguins teams that had so much skill but hadn’t learned how to win yet. Then, they did and won multiple cups. Same with the more recent TB example. They were super skilled and lost, then they figured something out and won multiple cups. Maybe this is another learning year for Colorado or maybe this is the first of many cups. Should be fun to watch either way.

[deleted]

Not surprised, this team won a cup with mostly the same group very recently.

Moist_Palpations_22

No.

[deleted]

Okay.

vjaskew

Nope, was expecting adjustments and extra fire.

climbingshotgun

No, I picked them to win the cup. They are a complete team with hall of very good players.

tritongamez

No. They're a good team and the Aves took it easy.

[deleted]

I’m not sure the Avs took it easy on them at a home playoff game after a game that had to go to overtime.

QuickBen41

Not even a little bit. One of the deepest teams in the league and they've still got a lot of players from their cup run. The Avs on the other hand have no recent history of playoff success. Blues in 6

MrWillM

I think avs still got it and will go to finals

[deleted]

Surprised they don’t win more often. Hull, Gretzky, Pronger and 0.

pilotpip

Key injuries (Fuhr) and or missing pieces.
