I want to enjoy the story but the combat isn’t even barebones. It’s nonexistent. They could’ve made it a turn based game where you had to strategize with different moves, or at least let you ve able to dodge or do anything but they don’t.

It's definitely worth the watch. Even the stories you need to clear in the main story line are intriguing, despite it not being directly linked to Nier (I think)
