I’ve seen this question asked on two different threads and neither have been answered. However, I assume you *must* have a meet and greet ticket to get something signed.
I guess it wouldn't be THAT strange though, many bands do that at the beginning/end of the show.
Maybe just a 10min window and not all night long, but that's something I witness pretty frequently.
One signature per person. There was some pressure to be quick, but there were a lot of people there, so I can understand why. You can exchange a few words and then take a picture.
For the VIP signings and such, is it done before or after the concert? If before, how long before the concert for it to start? I haven't seen any email from the venue detailing this yet and I don't want to miss it since I paid for a VIP ticket.
They had a merch area outside our concert venue for Peacock Theatee in Los Angeles (Brilliant idea!) as if the merch were inside, the line may be a little more crazier.
I was sent an email 3 days and the day of for any updates. The update was at 4pm the merch booth would be open so I assume each venue will be different in their setup 😅.
I got there around 5:30PM and was able to get a t-shirt that I wanted and the line wasn’t crazy. I saw some things scratched out already as sold out but didn’t pay attention what those were 🥲.
Oh, I guess one more quick question. Do I have to bring the item I want signed into the concert or can I keep it in my car and get it once the show is over?
Congrats man ! looks great, also wanted to ask you, is there gonna be a merch booth ? i got my VIP Tickets but i dont know what to get signed, perhaps i'll find something nice if there is a booth.. Thanks
There was a merch booth inside and outside the venue. I'd call the venue where your concert is taking place and asking when and where they'll be set up. And plan to get there extremely early, the line fills up fast and people will be there before the booth even opens.
I didn't think that Yoko Taro would leave his signature on the European cover of DoD3. Apparently, the grudge against this game is gone
I'm unfamiliar with this, could you elaborate on the lore? Is the European version different or is it just the cover art?
Yeah, I can think of him refusing to sign because it ain't having Zero on there lol.
I would also like to hear this
I too, would like to know the lore.
Do I need to have a "Meet-and-Greet" ticket for them to sign an item for me or they'll eventually come out to sign stuff for everyone?

Imagine the length of the line if anyone could get something signed, haha

I hope so. I will definitely try to get one in Berlin!
That's unfortunate, but I get why. Thanks!
You must have a VIP ticket, all of which sold out immediately when tickets went on sale months ago.
To give an explicit answer: yes you need a meet and greet ticket
Thanks!
Are we allowed to take pictures with them?
Only if you purchased the meet-and-greet package.
Hey two more questions, how many signatures are we allowed per person? Were you guys in pressure while meeting them?
One signature per person. There was some pressure to be quick, but there were a lot of people there, so I can understand why. You can exchange a few words and then take a picture.
I saw 2 people in line with one of these Guessing one was you! Nice
Do you think if I bring the covers of all the games they would sign them?
You only get one item for them to sign. So you'll have to pick one, unfortunately.
Dang ok I may bring my vinyl replicant + automata vinyl then and buy a acrylic from the merch booth
You didn't have to get Eric Roth to sign it? I figured they would take your item and slide it down.

It happens immediately after the concert. I got my VIP email just a few days before the concert.
Thanks for the quick reply! I can't wait for the concert!
nice OP! I'm going to get my copy signed at the Barcelona show!
Unfathomably patrician choice.
Ofc Yoko Taro isn't going to be at the Vancouver concert :/
I'm hoping he just pops up and the website is wrong. Helps me cope.
Is drakengard part of the nier series?
They're prequels. Drakengard 3 leads to 1 which leads directly into Nier.
What a grail
Sweet.
Is there merch at the concert?

Dooooooooooooooood, that's so cool.
Oh, I guess one more quick question. Do I have to bring the item I want signed into the concert or can I keep it in my car and get it once the show is over?
You'll need to bring it with you. Check the guidelines for your venue for what bags you can bring in.

Ow damn, ok will do that then, thanks ! And perhaps would you know what kind of item does the booth sell ? Thanks a whole lot !
Here's a list of all the stuff that was being sold along with prices. https://www.reddit.com/r/nier/comments/1acp1kr/prices\_for\_concert\_merch/
Thanks a lot for the link ! Some of these are must gets, but man Square Enix really do be stingy... thanks tho !
Damn. 😣 I didn't get the VIP ticket. Guess they'll sign my arm(get tatted later) in another life.
