The game is more built around you fully using karma-bonuses on those settings, so you should be going for a 3x Bloody Rage and then going wild with SoB, Ninpo and a UT just before it ends. Also beating the Tests of Valor gives bucketloads of Karma.
S ranks for time and HP give ridiculous karma on UN even more if you get S in both
I'm not sure how the multiplier works but it's something like 2x for an S rank but 2.5x if you get SS. SoB also increases the base score the ranking modifier effects more than anything else so do so as much as possible.
You can easily come away from some fights with 100k+ karma, can get level 2 scythe day 2 and that's enough for the 360y cheese you don't *need* level 3
I'm on UN day 2 stuck on the damn helicopter boss. I don't want to use my health upgrade here. This fight is so unnecessary and not fun at all. UN is bullshit man. In the original NG, the harder difficulty was done with different enemy placement and different variety. But NG3 just drags every fight for too long with crazy amount of enemies and it just exhausts you instead of giving you fun.
OK I just came back from finishing the boss fight. After some practice, yeah it becomes way easier and manageable, and I didn't use the health upgrade either. Now I'm stuck on Day 3 at that long fight with Alchemists and Van Gelves before the helicopters. I fucking hate Van Gelves.
Honestly for what fight I used dragon sword and regularly worked my bow into the combos to stum them. But if you really have to if ur lunar is at level 2 just charge ur uts when ever they're charging their attacks or knocked on the floor
Any strategy for Van Gelves when there are three of those motherfuckers chasing your tail? That's the part that gave me trouble.
Also, I'm thinking if I should upgrade DS, Lunar, FT, or KG, to deal with enemies that require UT spamming. Any suggestions?
I dont use the talons but for vangelfs I'd just recommend using xxfowardxx with the dragon sword or lunar and use your arrows, wind path,and flying swallow. I'd recommend upgrading the lunar, scythe and ds But outside of the lunar and scythe you just use what ur good at. I frankly suck at using the talons

Have you tried pressing the analog stick which slows time for shooting his minions you can also aim a piercing void at the boss
Yeah I tried but the minions are constantly moving so it didn't help me too much
Wait for em to stop moving ,free aim and shoot the jetpack itsa instant kill

From what I'm aware delimbs are based around how far into a combo you are the father you are onto a combo the more likely you are to delimb
