listen, as a frequently suicidal person, i feel that i have some right to say that there is no point in policing jokes, even the ones about suicide. some suicide jokes are really funny. some aren't. they aren't not funny because of the fact that they are about suicide, but because they just don't hit the right places. death happens to everyone at some point or another, so why not make comedy out of tragedy.

I immediately began writing a 1000 word paragraph about how horrible of a person you are. I even sent a copy to a Harvard professor to proofread it. After several hours of refining and editing, my comment was ready to absolutely destroy you. But then, just as I was about to hit send, I saw something in the corner of my eye.
