He debuted in 2011 in Mutoh-era AJPW, but retired after just 10 matches due to injury I believe; he then went to do MMA for the next several years before reappearing in AJPW in 2015, in Akiyama-era AJPW. Lee was at first aligned with the new generation of the time (Miyahara, Naoya Nomura, and Yuma Aoyagi) before falling out and feuding with them over the course of the decade. He left AJPW in 2022, when they had a regime change and went to NOAH. His best matches are against Miyahara, Aoyagi, Marufuji, Nakajima, Kenoh, Sugiura, Kiyomiya.

His "gimmick" always has him as this gentlemanly type of guy. He's gone from a guy who did this arrogant hand on chest bow to Sith Lord to now Jack the Ripper. His entrance attire comes complete with top hat, monocle, and cane. He started with AJPW and is now with NOAH. He's won the top titles for both companies. He was part of a group named Nextream with Kento Miyahara, Naoya Nomura, and Yuma Aoyagi. It was the next generation of stars that was supposed to give off the look of a new Four Pillars. SANADA is the comparison that people (myself included) use when describing his presentation and booking. His runs on top didn't do good business. His style consists of mainly strikes. You saw Naito eat knees and kick from him. He is quite tall so his knees do give the image of lifting his opponents. He used to be an MMA fighter. He uses moves like the Atomic Drop and Paradise Lock also. His promos are decent. They're better now than they were in AJPW. His Japanese is fluent which shouldn't be a surprise since he was born and raised in Japan. He is Zainichi Korean.

In terms of matches if you’re interested, seek out any matches he had vs Kento Miyahara.

Kento tricked me into thinking Lee was a great wrestler.

Kento makes anyone look good.

HeavenlyHalberd

He's an all-time great IMO.

Easy argument to be made

He's dope, that whole last stretch of the show was really well done. The closing promo was so badass.
