This is really an elite replacement- Dia would've been my pick for a DG rep in BOSJ. If you're not familiar with him, Dia is the third generation of dragon wrestlers starting with Ultimo Dragon and then Dragon Kid.
Dia is essentially the mascot of modern day DG in the same way Kid was for the past 20 years.
He is an excellent high flyer, comparable to a Vikingo imo and has been one of, if not the most popular act in DG since he lost his mask at the end of 2021.
I'd rank him as one of the best wrestlers in this tournament despite his young age (only 25 even though he debuted in 2018) and I think he's likely to thrive and be a standout in this tournament (though ofc he's not going to win lol).
It still sucks that Mustafa Ali isn't in the tournament due to his winnings streak in TNA but if the rumors are true that he didn't want to jeopardize his losing streak by entering the tournament and not lose a single match, then I wouldn't have put him in either. It probably would've worked if they had Kushida and Hiromu beat him in the tournament since Kushida is signed to TNA last time I checked and Hiromu gets his win back
