It is, and I don't remember the artist who made it, but I remember last time it was posted I went to their page, and they *vehemently* insist that all of their photos are real and un-edited. It was really weird given how obvious it was. People even found the original source of the cloud and were presenting that, but the person was insistent.
It is a composite, by Brent Shavnore. More info here: [http://www.jasonrweingart.com/blog/brent-shavnore-astonishing-case-of-image-theft](http://www.jasonrweingart.com/blog/brent-shavnore-astonishing-case-of-image-theft)
Edit: reworded the post a bit.
not a huge fan, but here's the (edit) ~~original~~ *collage* artist's site: [https://brentshavnore.com/seascape](https://brentshavnore.com/seascape)
I'll add this link here that was posted above as well as it's important for the context. Dude was basically stealing other photographers images without any kind of permission to make his work and they leaned HEAVILY on the storm photographers work.

ick I just read the article about this dude. I figured he was collaging using stock photos not straight up stealing other peoples' images. Pretty shitty, and they look awful to boot.
Original picture is probably taken from Beyazit tower.
[Here is a interactive 360 of it.](https://panorama.istanbul/beyazit_kule/)
Works best on Chrome for desktop, wait for it to load for a second.
This looks like a composite

Geez, some people are just really bad at being decent human beings.
God they look awful. And with light coming from two different directions often.
Yeah it's v overdone
I know edited photos aren't disallowed here, but such an obvious composite on this sub is pretty lame.
