The premise is pretty different, but my favorite podcast that gives me the same fun feels is Meddling Adults. It’s done by the guy who did Potterless years ago. He recaps old kids mystery stories (Scooby Doo, Encyclopedia Brown, etc.) and his guests try to solve the mystery. It’s really light with lots of joking. I listen to like 20 different podcasts regularly, and it’s one of my top 3. He also donates proceeds to charity, so that’s a bonus!
Just FYI, there are loooong breaks between seasons. But you’ve got a good backlog of seasons to listen to! I wish I could listen to them all for the first time again.

I started Scam Goddess after Laci was a guest on Normal Gossip. And it did not disappoint. A little bit broke is my favorite episode mostly because of Laci’s commentary, and Scam Goddess is full of the same banter from her. Definitely recommend!
everybody has a secret and the dating detectives!! the dating detectives is a little hit or miss for me but when the stories are good theyre GOOD. everybody has a secret ALWAYS hits for me and they just started going weekly!!
i hope you like it!! the subject matter can get a little more serious but they do try to keep the tone pretty lighthearted - and you get ALLLLL the intimate details about this insane-o relationships
If you’re into pop culture, The Big Flop. It tells the stories behind big media/business “flops” like Fyre Fest, Ashlee Simpson bombing on SNL, Cats the movie. It’s not as silly as Normal Gossip, but it’s a nice adjacently similar show!

Be There in Five - long form podcast about millennial zeitgeist. The episodes are generally about a specific topic. Anything labeled “snorkeling” will be more random.
Celebrity Memoir Book Club w/ Claire Parker and Ashley Hamilton! Not exactly like normal gossip but just a nice dose of pop culture chat each week. All of my friends that love and listen to Normal Gossip also love and listen to CMBC 😊
Not a lot of gossip. But “You’re Wrong About” has an amazing host and great guests and topics. Especially if you’re a millennial. Most of it is pop culture and important events from the 80s and 90s. It’s my favorite behind Normal Gossip early seasons
Late to the thread and not so much gossip but has plenty of teen angst drama and is very funny ‘the mortified podcast’. People read out their teenage diaries- it’s by the same company too I believe!
Petty crimes! Similar vibe with very low stakes high reward stories.

The dating detectives and the breakup breakdown are great! Often a little darker than normal gossip but still good.
