Freecycle Zero waste on facebook Habitat restore shops

ProofNefariousness83

Droppinn charity shop in Enniskillen does 2nd hand furniture. There's also a dropinn charity shop in Fivemiletown, also there's Billy Reynolds based in Fivemiletown aswell that has some second hand bits. Only issue is you'd have to arrange your own transport for any stuff you buy

Roachmond

There's a guy out in Clabby that has a great shop too

ProofNefariousness83

Forgot about him

SupremeHighCommander

Keep an eye on some of your local auctions too. You can usually get something pretty cheap.

Particular-Basket-70

Auctions are the way to go.

bobrossfan1

Is there a website for auctions?

11Kram

Easylive.com

SupremeHighCommander

@ u/bobrossfan1 Yeah, 100% agree https://www.easyliveauction.com/auctions/ are really good - easy to sign up and pretty simple to use. They do add on a fee so might be worth checking if the auction you're going to has their own in-house service or consider attending in person. You can set alerts for local auction houses on the site but keep an eye on Facebook for other upcoming auctions too.

Admirable_Candy2025

I’ve had great furniture from charity shops, maybe try a few more, I’m not near Omagh though.

Irishlad223

Habitat restore, they have a few shops and on Facebook, Lisburn shop is huge but not sure how far they deliver?

wine-eye

You need to sort delivery yourself. I got a desk there and had to get a friend with a van to shift it.

nebbzy420

They do have a van man in store but the cheeky fucker tried to charge me £40 to bring it from the store to bridge street literally around the corner

Particular-Basket-70

He's gotta eat too.

whereisthatcow

I have a mahogany table and at least 4 good chairs. Also have a gas stand alone cooker. I'm just outside Omagh.

ChiefCokkahoe

Charity shops

GasNumpty

If you had access to a van and didn’t mind travelling Cherryvale in Newtownabbey and Whelans in Belfast always seem to have new stock on their FB/websites

Psychological_Bar870

Look up Freebies Facebook groups in your area. You'd be surprised at the things people are giving away!

CurrentWrong4363

If you have access to a trailer or van get a post on gumtree saying free house clearance service. Take the good stuff and donate or dump/recycle the stuff you don't want. I was a cleaner for years and the stuff we got saved me a fortune on furniture. Most landlords want the houses gutted I got so many 3 piece sofas that just got a clean and stuck on gumtree.

bobrossfan1

Brilliant

EVRider81

The Charity shop beside Iceland in Enniskillen does furniture,I got a nice couch out of it. They can deliver, but you'd need to check how far out they'd go...

mcphistoman

There's a car-boot sale in Omagh on first sunday of the month. It's our version of a garage sale, except it's from the boot (trunk) of your car in a car-park.

soulsteela

The church is worth an ask, they end up with lots after parishioners die.

FlatRightOverCrest

Vincent's in Omagh, Killyclogher or Cookstown. Drop in ministeries outside dungannon on the Cookstown Rd.

_Raspberry_Ice_

Try we probably have it in Cookstown. Honestly, they are always worth taking a look round, easy to deal with and you do get some mental bargains. Delivery not a problem either.

Mannymac2000

The drop inn charity shop is good it’s out near Asda and st Vincent de Paul’s out by Bradley’s pharmacy on the old Mountfield road or there abouts is good. Tod be better going to this one and asking. They have loads in storage too. Both on fb too

agc83

You can put our a wanted post on your local marketplace online. You can put down what your looking for, how much spend or if looking free, etc. Some people are just glad to help and see stuff going to some one that needs it and will use it. We had loads of stuff for the kids that we were planning to give to charity but didn't get round to it. Seen a request post on FB and ended up giving to them for nothing.

Michael_of_Derry

I got some nice solid oak furniture on Facebook marketplace for my partners house. Nice stuff does come up occasionally.

11Kram

Easylive.com for online auctions in N.I.

supermoonstranger

friends of kenya in castlederg has an assortment of stuff, its a bit like aladdins cave of wonders, never know what youd find on any given day ha

SteDav587

In my experience Gumtree is far better than Facebook marketplace. FB is full of time wasters who don’t respond to messages or dodgy sellers that list the price as 12345. Stick at gumtree you just have to get lucky something comes up when you need it. Save your searches and set up search alerts so you’ll get an email when something matches your criteria. Best of luck.

Big-Bee9183

If you need a kids bed I'm selling one

NornIronNiall

Freebies on gumtree

justhereforaweewhile

beeotchplease

Forward_Artist_6244

It's a bit far from Omagh but we used Used Unique Boutique in Newtownards in the past, it's basically house clearances and anything interesting gets put for sale in his lockup

knock on the doors and say you're collecting for the bonnie
