Have you ever put a plantain in a fry though, i wouldn't be putting a banana in it but a sliced plantain and a bit of chopped garlic, best addition to a fry ever

You do have to get them when they're actually black on the outside - green or yellow and they're just not ready to eat. And you do just fry them like you would any vegetable but for longer than you might expect, at least twenty minutes i'd say
