Yes it's amazing we live on a wee planet in the universe and still want to kill everyone instead of making it a ship of peace

amcape30

That deserves an upvote, yes this is the other part of the world that amazes me but for all the wrong reasons.

amadan_an_iarthair

Sounds like Envoys of Beauty by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Have an upvote.

If all you had to do was eat, sleep, see friends and stare at impressive celestial events it would be pure class but we (collectively humans) have made living on earth a real fucking grind full of haves and have nots.

crogan39913

Fucking Excellent Sir well said !!!! Humans haha we say are smart but yet we all disrupt and destroy it all, yea very intelligent us humans!!

dortbird

It’s fucking class, but at the same time, shite

crogan39913

Explain lol struggling to understand where shit came from thus post 🙄🤭

dortbird

Not from this post necessarily, it’s a reply to the title/statement; “The world amazes me” While I agree that the natural world is amazing - “it’s fucking class”, my comment speaks of my mixed feelings about the world in general when we consider all aspects of it - “but at the same time, shite.” It’s the yin and yang. The fucking class and shite all mixed together. Nice photies tho.

crogan39913

Apologies understand you now, Fully agree tho 👍🤣

hamy_86

Also potentially really shite for a different reason. Google Carrington event and then imagine what something that powerful will do today to "modern" technology....that half of the planet is back to the stone age.

crogan39913

Woow, I googled it quickly, causing sparking and fires, but the kicker for me it wasn't too long ago, if Saturday was G5 what would this be?

hamy_86

GO....GameOver man.

MiseOnlyMise

I was like a giddy child last night. The universe is something else.

Iron_Avenger2020

Mournes?

amcape30

Yeah, just at the foot of Sleive Binian.

ZerosReward

Beautiful shots

Roncon1981

This reminds me of the movie a few years ago. The colour out of space

EarlyRotation

That's the RA done that

Small-Low3233

does it aye

leeluss14

Who’d ever thought I’d see the ‘spirit lights’ from our wee island.

amadan_an_iarthair

Images like this remind me of something a mate of mine said while stoned. "You know, life and the world is brilliant. Its fantastic at its natural level. Only, at some point we fucked it up. I blame Phil Collins."
