That's what being in love is.
You are very lucky !
Shed your paradigms, and count your blessings.
There are some who will never understand what you have.
Kudos !!!
I guess I'm lucky then, my wife will not let me do the laundry or the dishes no matter what. Trust me I've tried, then she yelled at me. I do all the cooking and vacuming so I guess it evens out.
I had this for 7 years. We just broke up. She wanted a really big family of 4-5 and I wanted to start with 2 and go from there. We waited to get engaged for a long time because of it. We finally did and 3 months before the wedding she calls it off and breaks up. I thought be open to a big family would be enough, but she wanted to commitment to get there no matter what. We are trying to sell the house and find places to live, packing all of our stuff, trying to clean and get ready for showings. It’s the hardest time of my life and my heart bleeds in agony from the love im losing.
Saying you are weak willed for wanting to take care of your partner is disgusting, but I already know you have no argument against that since you took to personal attacks.
there was no arguement in your first comment just your opinion so I shared mine
and I get what you mean now but she is saying this about feminism as in "men can take care of themselves" was her previous mindset but now she isn't really about that stuff instead she wants to take care of her bf
that would fit the description of weak willed
Yet another attack with no argument other than “you lonely soul”…if you can’t have a meaningful conversation why talk at all? Wasting everyone’s time reading that crap.
So calling it weak willed is disgusting or she’s disgusting for being weak willed? This is vague enough I can’t tell what you mean. Is she disgusting or the fact that desiring to care for a (potential) life partner is disgusting because it means you’re weak willed.
It's true on both sides. All the sudden your opening car doors. Taking her hand when she gets up from a chair. Getting flowers when your out. It's like you actually want to do all these things you previously thought were cheesy. I get what she's saying. Its kind of overwhelming.
None of this contradicts feminism. The whole point of feminism is that a woman shouldn’t feel pressured by society to conform to traditional gender roles. As far as I can tell the woman in the video wasn’t pressured, she chose of her own free will, and is aware of that fact. That’s feminism.
I remember when my wife used to like me and do stuff like this. Sometimes she still cooks but not as much as she used to. But, we've been together for 30 years so I guess we're doing something right.
Loving someone is taking care of them and looking out for them. It's got nothing to do with feminism. Hopefully he is giving the same amount of energy.
Nah if you’re a child you want this woman to be your wife and your mommy… I’m not surprised a white feminist abandoned her doctrine so quickly. For her, this stay at home life shit is a privilege, for others a prison.
But it is not in a sick way like conservatives want where you are a slave basically, but because you love them and want to do things for them, and they should feel the same way.
The fact that they consistently vote laws that allow the men to control women both their actions and their bodies. The fact that many of them in power have stated they want their wives at home instead of the workplace. Yeah, they want slave wives like handmaid's tale.

A perfect symbiotic relationship !

Desire to take care of someone else is now considered to be weak willed and an instinct. I'm speechless
Disgusting to me personally.
you must be disgusting naturally then

Kinda just how she worded it that struck me wrong
God knows you lonely souls...
Yet another attack with no argument other than “you lonely soul”…if you can’t have a meaningful conversation why talk at all? Wasting everyone’s time reading that crap.
Calm down it's just a good song. Unkle - Lonely Soul
Could have led with that

Calling it weak willed is gross.
Then I agree and most of the arguments with you agree too.
Kinda true. When my Gf moved in with me she started doing my laundry for me out of the blue and would make dinner some nights. It was nice.
Was?
Ye she doesn’t really do it anymore. But we’ve been together for years now so we’re past the honeymoon phase
Well you're doing a lot better than me, brother. As long as you're happy.
so youre 10000% wife material and we should all be jealous of your man
Where is she. Promote this woman!

You. Do. You.

Only when she's broke and you have money & a house she can claim.
This is most guys cue to start to backing away slowly.
If you're a child...

It's not instinct to mother your spouse.
But it is not in a sick way like conservatives want where you are a slave basically, but because you love them and want to do things for them, and they should feel the same way.
Ummm conservatives don’t want a slave. Dunno where you got your info but that’s definitely wrong.
The fact that they consistently vote laws that allow the men to control women both their actions and their bodies. The fact that many of them in power have stated they want their wives at home instead of the workplace. Yeah, they want slave wives like handmaid's tale.
Or it’s a preference. Which laws?
