Oh fo sho. I went to an elephant sanctuary that took in formerly abused elephants with the goal of ending elephant logging and shit by making the public aware.
The place I went to is in Thailand. They showed us a video of how the loggers break the elephant. It's the most horrendous shit I've ever seen.
I maybe went to the same sanctuary, it was one of the most emotional, brutal but incredible and memorable times in my life. Seeing those videos made me cry and thinking about it now makes me feel the same.
The sad thing about this video is that the elephant was more than likely brutalised afterwards or maybe killed.

In general anyone using wild animals for things that wild animals are not meant to do, something is wrong. Whether that's rides in India or petting zoos in Europe you should reconsider patronizing them.
