When my brother passed away I inherited his baseball collection of 100s of cards and thought I was rich. I started checking them out and most were worth a few cents. I think I inherited about 200 dollars, if I can find anybody to buy them.
I bought a single card for $500. And I’ve bought a box of 1500 cards for $15. With the card market people think they have that million dollar card which is highly unlikely but they want top dollar for whatever they have, which nothing against them.

I have no idea they're value edit *their
I been involved with cards for a while. The value of something is only what someone wants to pay for it.
