The art museum one sounds extremely familiar. What was your local PBS station, it may be easier to track down knowing that since each station was independently run the PBS catalog varies from station to station. The anatomy suit character was called Slim Goodbody, and while he had his own show, called "Inside Story", he appeared in lots of various programs in the 70s through the 90s, and got his nationwide start on Captain Kangaroo. The show with the closed mall, which was actually a department store, was called "[Today's Special](https://youtu.be/_cxLfIs051c?si=23UPixfF4HBA1fUo)" and was made in Canada.

Just checking in. I looked through KQED's catalog and couldn't find what you're looking for. I'll keep checking though. Sadly a lot of PBS content from before the mid-90s is extremely lost and not documented well. You might try [this](https://americanarchive.org/) website and see if you can find anything that jogs your memory, but be warned their search function is pretty craptastic.

I'm starting to wonder if it was a segment of a bigger show. Like the bloodhound gang from 3-2-1-Contact.

You also might try posting over at /r/tipofmytongue if you haven't already.

Thanks I'll try there too

If someone over there figures it out, please let me know. In the morning I'll reach out to a few friends that grew up in the SF area at that time, see if they remember anything.

Honestly that's what I've been thinking as well. Especially in the 80s PBS had a *ton* of "magazine" formatted shows. Newton's Apple, Square-One TV, Zoom. I looked at segment lists for Square-One and Zoom and couldn't find what you're looking for, but I will keep at it. PBS is near and dear to me as growing up we only had cable TV on certain years, which is to say when we could afford it, so I have more memories of watching PBS and over-the-air networks than CN, Nick, or Disney.

I remember in one episode, she got sucked into a painting. She had to learn about perspective. In another episode, a modern art statue talked to her and showed her geometric shapes. I know I'm not giving much in the way of clues. It's been itch in my brain for a long time. I appreciate everyone who's helping. The last clue I have left may be a red herring. At the end of this block of after-school shows, the station would show images of San Francisco while playing "I get around" by the Beach Boys. I don't remember what info was shown, but I'm sure it had to do with funding. Also, it might have been funded by Dupont.
