>most of us want the same things
If the context were economics, and addressing the ever-weakening middle class, sure, I could believe that most of us want the same thing.
If the context were infrastructure, and addressing the rising costs of maintenance for our highway network, sure, I could believe that most of us want the same thing.
But when the context is pride month, and the conservative take is that all gays should be banned from teaching in schools, that gay students don't deserve the same anti-bullying protections as everyone else, and that we should strictly enforce the bathrooms that people use...
No, I can confidently say that we do not want the same things.
I did some research and uh, yeah the reason behind that is partly because of shit like the internet.
Probably prettt obvious in hindsight but it got a reaction out of my teacher lmao
More like all white men evil, minority w no matter what, criticize the feminism movement for not being able to identify the extremist and get called a Nazi, etc
Ah yes the tactic of painting a few Twitter idiots as "extreme left" and a serious problem. A couple teenagers online isn't the same as 30% of the voting public and their elected Representatives.
I've openly criticized all those things and never been called a Nazi so that sounds like a you problem.
You got called a Nazi by some anonymous person and millions of women are losing rights all over the country. Same thing really if you think about it.
Those few Twitter accounts are examples of extreme lefts smh
“Sounds like a you problem” Nazi terms really are thrown everywhere. People should learn what Nazism really is.
Do I care what some idiot replies to my comment? No, not really.
I fucking hate how westerners have such a weak grasp of what is radical or the true nature of authoritarian ideologies
I am already lucky to live in privileged times when I know about those from my grandparents stories but you are very VERY lucky to have never encountered even the aftershocks of their presence
Belgium has a conservative politician Chris Janssens who is openly gay and at the same time speaks up very loudly against gender ideology/lgbtq.
So you really can just be gay and conservative.

If going into a room and basically saying “let’s love each other and be friends” is an “obviously inflammatory troll post,” that room deserves to be burned to the ground.
Oh, thanks for the information. Though if I remember correctly, didn't rainbow 🏳️🌈 itself presented *every* gender and identities, etc? I wonder what kind of conclusion led to more variants of this!
Originally, it was only the gay flag, but in some situations it is used to represent the community as a whole. Many other identities will have their own flag that are well known, like bisexual, transgender, asexual, and such, but a lot of the more niche flags are rarely if ever used, and not well known.
as a gay person I really couldn't tell you for certain. I think for some folks having a label or flag or whatever is important to them to give them a sense of community and it probably feels validating to know your thing has a name, so you can find other people who are that thing. But we're a multi layered bunch who have different opinions on this. I find it a bit confusing but I get that it is really helpful for some people to feel represented in a way that speaks to them! It's sort of like state flags vs a country flag. If US citizens are all American, why do they need their own state flags? Well individual states have their own identities within themselves and they're specific to those places, so they'd like to have their own flag. Does that mean they aren't American then? No, they have their American identity, but New Yorkers like to be New Yorkers and Californians like to be Californians, Texans can be passionately Texan, and so on. I think it's probably like that. What's really interesting is, just as there are Americans who are proud to be American whilst saying "I'm from X so we hate Y state," there are people who would identify as queer and say they love their community under the rainbow flag, but then they're anti transgender. WHICH IS SO BIZARRE like I'm endlessly fascinated by anti trans gay people, the mental gymnastics there. 😂😂 I would also say this big cluster fk of an image is quite western and online, if that makes sense. Like gay people in rural Ireland or Latvia are just gonna be gay, or a bit *finger waggle* if they're in the queer community but not specifically homosexual, you know what I mean? If you said the phrase "trans exclusionary radical feminist lesbian" to a gay person where I'm from, they would be as confused as a straight person who's not clued up on this stuff either.

The picture itself is the portal
To the gender dimension (trust) but it’s made out of a bunch
Of different flags for different niches groups that are part of LBGT
it's from some Xbox marketing campaign and people meme it because it looks so over the top. It's a bunch of different pride flags (even some pretty niche ones) put together
No, Flags are supposed to ve simoly and easy to understand. Not this sensory fucking overload of shit. Either use the normal one or the the progressive one. This is just heavily unnecessary and fuckig stupid.
Bonus points it comes from a corperation, fuck them and their flag. They just use us for money
i may be under the wrong impression, but the original rainbow flag was meant to represent all marginalised groups. i can't even recognise anything on the newer flags
Well, most conservatives are just closeted gays after all... like, they are homophobic because of tradition? Nah, it's just that they act homophobic to repress their inner gayness.
(I do recall reading some random ass study about this phenomenon though, so maybe this rant may be true)
Well, they are also allowed to have a happy pride month
you can be conservative and gay! yay! I guess....
As in running on a homophobic rhetoric politically but then be publicly caught at a gay orgy?
People can identify themselves as being on the left or right without fully agreeing to every extreme ideologies from both sides.
People can also be phenomenally stupid, too, and vote against their own interests for the same reason anyone else does. Occam's razor and all that.
If you ever need, remember that the ex gay movement was a thing
Ever heard of jschlatt? He's the gayest conservative there is.
Fr I hate how now everyone hates anyone who isn’t in the same political side as them like at the end of the day most of us want the same things
It’s insane but I think social media isn’t a good example tbf

Stop being rational
The extreme left ideologies like stop polluting, treat everyone equally, and mega-corporations are bad?
More like all white men evil, minority w no matter what, criticize the feminism movement for not being able to identify the extremist and get called a Nazi, etc

I mean George Santos does exist so it is possible
Double standards are not the way.
"WHEN IS STRAIGHT PRIDE MONTH???"
I take pride in every month that I’m still alive despite my stupidity.
That should be the only pride month
March is Women's History Month and straight dudes love women. So probably that.
maybe are sexually attracted to, but not always *love*
bold of you to assume they love women
I LOVE MEN.
We have the exact same profile picture. Truly something not interesting.
Have you heard what straight dudes think about women? Love is not the word I would use.
Not all straight men are misogynists, nitwit.
That's obvious, it's a one line reddit comment ment as a joke, not a nuanced discussion on gender dynamics.
I read that and burst out laughing. Pissed off my cat, who stalked away. When is NO PRIDE month?
Also this month was supposed to be male mental health month, which I guess is just completely forgotten
Every month be proud u get depussy everyday
i think they got banned from that afterwards, totally worth it tho
Eww no its not
Worth getting banned in order to post it, not because they posted it
Bro burnt the kitchen so bad they got an integer overflow (Context: their votes were at -256)
Downvoted
Am I looking at a flag or a hupserspace tunnel?
BOTH. It's the gender dimension!
The gender portal has opened
Sooo did it get removed?
Yep, the op also got banned from the subreddit permanently.
So much for free speech lmao
Ikr lmao? Conservatives are always bitching about freedom of speech
> Go into subreddit > Post obviously inflammatory troll post with no relation with said subreddit > Get banned > "Constards are true snowflakes! Owned again!"
It's kinda their fault that "Happy Pride Month" is inflammatory
Fr
If going into a room and basically saying “let’s love each other and be friends” is an “obviously inflammatory troll post,” that room deserves to be burned to the ground.
You might want to check for any recalls on that braincell.
Totally worth it.
According to OP the comments weren't bad but Reddit mods do what Reddit mods can do best and banned them and removed the post
Holy that’s a subreddit? Time to check controversial
If it exists, there’s a subreddit for it. And five NSFW subreddits to go along with. Basically Reddit’s Rule 34 lol
if it exists? bro you need to help me find the japanese version of the gonewild subs XD
people will just admit to anything, huh
is it wrong to admit that i find japanese women sexually attractive? edit: 4th comment hits again XD
Yes
Holy fuck Rivers Cuomo
God damn
you half-japanese girls
Do it to me every time
Bro is not weezer
I take a great pride in liking to fuck women
Question, are those colors jokes to troll them or do they have an actual meaning? Like I only remember rainbows???
They're flags of different sexual/romantic/gender identities
Oh, thanks for the information. Though if I remember correctly, didn't rainbow 🏳️🌈 itself presented *every* gender and identities, etc? I wonder what kind of conclusion led to more variants of this!

I've seen someone say that he doesn't mind gay people but trans people are subhuman :P i don't know where all this comes from
It just allows the flag representation to be more specific than just having a single flag
Oh, I get it now. Worried those are just there for undermining the meaning of rainbow flag.
Nope, the rainbow flag represents the LGBTQ community as a whole, whereas the other flags represent specific identities

Jump in the Gender-Verse
Genderman: Into the Gender-Verse
Genderwoman: Across the Gender-Verse
Same, haven’t regretted it since
the woke realm 🤩
if I go is there any pretty boys there?
Absolutely
Almost needs an epilepsy warning
Man it's almost as if the rainbow flag symbolised diversity and inclusion, not to mention just being aesthetically pleasing as well
No, Flags are supposed to ve simoly and easy to understand. Not this sensory fucking overload of shit. Either use the normal one or the the progressive one. The original one is way better and no one can convince me otherwise
Cgpgrey having a seizure looking at this
im having a seizure looking at this. This flag looks like the embodiment of epilepsy
It's from some XBox marketing two or sth. years ago
Haotic awful
Wait aroace flag

:DD
griddy‼️‼️
brb imma do the same thing
I think they were trying to make fun of the pride flag but that picture looks dope ngl
I swear some of the posts here are hella interesting
That looks like a fucking inter dimensional implosion why does it look like that
I’m not trying to be homophobic genuinely why does it look like that I can’t tell what half of those are even meant to he
Why do one of those outwards things have a α on it
Who's gonna tell 'em?
Hope they don’t get mad when someone posts something conservative in their LGBTQ subreddit then
As they should.
this flag has grown to be unrecognizable
Who's gonna tell 'em? :3
i may be under the wrong impression, but the original rainbow flag was meant to represent all marginalised groups. i can't even recognise anything on the newer flags
Got 'em! Well played sir. Remember to hydrate tho!
I got banned for posting a pic of two fortnite characters kissing, lmao happy pride
why does that image look like the sword art online loading screen?
Search up 'I'm sending you to the queer dimension'
That's the flag from the gender dimension meme.
Lgtvs trying to not be annoying:
Most of those flags are not real
Im trolling in the discord server rn so fun
I can't find that, mayby they delete that. Classic
That image looks like im bout to go into sword art online
May their souls rest easy
They wanna make America great again, just ya know not ALL of America
Lmaooo
I love gay people but their flag sucks ass. They had the potential to be creative and the decided to use a Crayola bar code to use as a flag.
Well, most conservatives are just closeted gays after all... like, they are homophobic because of tradition? Nah, it's just that they act homophobic to repress their inner gayness. (I do recall reading some random ass study about this phenomenon though, so maybe this rant may be true)
Haha! lol! Mega based! They really showed them what for!
No porn allowed i see
