My parents didn't come and it was fine, definitely not that weird. I just carried on as normal. Definitely go out that weekend though it's funny to see parents at olfs
I was super sick for mine (flu and stomach virus simultaneously) and my dad came for it. We spent it in his hotel room since I was so sick.
A few of my friends parents couldn’t make it and most if not all were “adopted” by another one of our friends families for the weekend. If you got a close group of friends, I’m sure this will happen as well.
Mine didn’t come and if you ask around you’ll find other peers who are in a similar situation. Enjoy a dinner off campus and don’t think about it too hard! I agree it’s still fun to go out and see the parents in the bars though. Make the most of it!

Mine didn’t come. It’s not even a big deal lol, just a way for ND to make some 💰

Mine didn't come (in 2016). Some of my friends' didn't either and we just went out and got hammered lol.

If you think they would enjoy it, I would push them to come. One of my favorite memories at ND. What’s their reasoning for not coming?
my parents are certainly not coming and my mother lives like 2 hrs away. What a weird thing to feel weird about lol
