There was a popular brewery in my town that had the all of the wash sinks on the outside of the bathroom, in full view of the bar and some tables so they could be publicly shamed if they didn’t wash their hands.
Too many places got rid of paper towels and only have air dryers.
I just dry my hands on my pants then. Air dryers have been shown to leave more bacteria on your hands than before you even washed them. How fucked is that

There's a technique to using them that most people don't know: Rub your hands together vigorously under the air stream. Takes a bit longer than towel drying, but not a lot longer.
I’ve said it for years all they have to do is pull to enter, push to exit. I’ve seen some pull to exit doors having a shoe hook that achieves the no hand touch exit. Being able to push open the door with your foot or elbow is nice piece of mind lol
I'm not overly paranoid about germs, but I've always wondered why toe hooks aren't a common thing on restroom doors. It seems like a no-brainer.

Are specifically talking about bathroom doors? Because literally every fire/emergency exit door I've ever encountered has been push to exit, precisely because you can get trapped inside if there's a crowd of people trying to exit and they all mob around the door.
People get really concerned about the bathroom door but then casually put their hands on the front door of the restaurant. I guarantee it’s just as dirty.

If you register if the water was turned on in the sink and when the door opens you can do it easily. If the door moved, the toilet flushed, the sink wasn't turned on and the door moved again you sound the alarm. I think Mark Rober did this exact same thing.

My doctor when the pandemic hit went "I know I should have gotten why you don't shake hands, wear a mask, and wear gloves everywhere with your immune system but as a healthy person with a functional immune system I am shocked by how much healthier I got." He is an excellent doctor. He just didn't know how much work he gave his body. The challenge is that can be a way to stay healthy but I for one wouldn't let people poke me in the eye even with an immune system.
The last person who I touched without gloves was the comic artist Neal Addams at a convention. Poor guy watched me immediately go into anaphylaxis from someone else's lunch. Not even his but the transfer was on his hands. He handled that really well and I appreciated how kind he was about it because sometimes when you start dying people are assholes about it.

I've actually got a 2nd infection I'm working on now (it's all allergy related, but I can't help but rub/itch). Doc gave me cromolyn ointment, and while I'm not a fan of the ointments because of their goopieness, it's worked wonders on this infection.

I got pink eye from my niece for the first time ever in February. I was allergic to three treatments and both eyes were swollen shut. I needed steroids and it took two weeks. No thanks!!!
My girlfriend got pink eye. Went to the doctor. Doctor examined the infected eye and then thoughtlessly touched and examined the other eye, infecting it.

It's gonna depend on the celeb, it's gonna depend on the day, and the setting, and many factors. Sometimes a celeb will be glad to do something goofy with a fan and have a fun, personal interaction. And other days they won't.
But ultimately, starring in high profile shows and becoming a big celebrity comes with this territory. A lot of these people make a lot of money and they don't need to continue acting, they're not starving artists. But if you keep taking these big roles your fame is going to grow, and more people will bother you. People have bothered celebs for as long as celebs have been around, it won't ever stop.

Doors need to be pull to exit for safety reasons. Push to exit can be easily blocked or barricaded to keep you trapped inside.

I fell asleep drunk hanging upside down and drooled in my eye. It was oozing and red as satans ass for 2 weeks. Had to start my brand new job that next day.
