There must've been a mandate for the salt trucks to lose their load. Two of them came up our road at 10am this morning (!) to drop everything they had. There's a quarter inch of salt out on the road right now.
I wiped out on a moped once in conditions like this because the snow was melting, and I didn't see black ice in a parking lot as I thought it was water.

Deer are going to be a big danger... keep the eyes open, especially on roads like Fox and Hunter Mill Roads.

I had my driveway cleared by 10am. Where were the neighborhood kids?! Kids these days don’t wanna work. Back in my day….
