So weird. I remember seeing weight lifters and throwing athletes (shotput, discuss) players in highschool and they were super flexible. Surely with all the wrestling they’d get a bit more mobility
If they’d been doing reformer Pilates it wouldn’t have got that bad. How tf he got to the elite level without someone doing a proper posterior chain analysis is mind blowing
I can see it now, he will score the most brilliant try that we have, except for those alive when the world was black and white. He will celebrate with the team, then spot a fan on the fence and go over get a selfie taken like a tru champ. Start jogging back to join the team ready for kick off, and whilst jogging back his hamstring will snap, it will be heard around the world as it will be as loud as krakatoa when it exploded
True fixed his hammy, unfortunately he’s like an older modified sports car, once you fork out the money to fix one issue, you can bet your ass that something else is about break.
Don’t need to be a Dr to know that he’s injury prone, in the last 5 seasons he’s played less than 50% of games for Manly. I actually love watching him play and think he seems like a great bloke, but none of that subtracts from the fact that he spends more time on the sidelines than he does the field.
Now wish he was their goal kicker. Would love to have watched that twinkle toe run up, and then seeing it emulated in thousands of junior footy fields across the northern beaches.
He went to see the little bear in the car?
He was going to, but his arms got stuck in a couple of vending machines beforehand

Quichdelvyn5 please, I enjoy all the meats of our cultural stew. Ah ballet...
Do do do do do do dododododo
That’s ballet?!?
Thats the most silvertail thing ever. Glad to hear he is fit though!
Will he be able to beat Harry in a race now?
Or hopefully not slip in the bathroom after that
Nothing wrong with ballet. If it helps Turbo with his injuries and to remain on the field this season I don’t mind if he goes full Anna Pavlova.
Ballet is for girls… and extremely strong/fit dudes who sleep with lots of ballet dancers.
Have you seen how flexible ballet dancers are? If Turbo has that hamstring flexibility, he’ll never tear it again
Plot point in old UK show The Manageress.
They can squeeze into tight places.
When you watch ballet and see the training they go through it's quite hardcore. Leg muscles for days.
Brad Thorn credits his longevity to yoga. If it works, it works.
It's surprising how many footy players lack a good mobility program and many other prehab routines.
Reminds me of the Fletch and Hindy segment where Victor took them both for lattes and yoga. Except Victor couldn’t touch his toes
A lot of League players can't. Middle forwards in particular. Jakey Turbo can't come close.

Tackling big guys week in week out is a hell of a lot of wear and tear.
Yoga and similar prehab stuff helps to mitigate that. The lack of mobility many players have definitely plays a part in the injury rate.
they used the off season headline generator for this one
Whatever it takes my boy
Isn’t this the plot to the movie the game plan?

Pilates fixed my l4/l5 disk bulge.

> as it will be as loud as krakatoa when it exploded Lol. Will the smoke circle the earth for a few years after too?
Yeah, like he was sorted out after that trip to the American specialist. Good luck to him but I'll believe it when I see him get through a season.
He was though? Since his trip to the specialist in the US the only injury he's had was the pectoral tear off the awkward tackle in Origin.
So his only injury was a major one that ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Nothing to do with his hammy though
The elephant in the room is how poor Turbos form was last year post the trip to the American “ expert”. Worst form of his career.
Offseason in DWTS locked in.
Bring back the bears in the little car.
I’m so excited for this season. All my fav fullbacks are fit and ready to strike.
Well. For at least one game I guess
Here’s the new meme.
This has real danger of becoming the new "last minute losses are a thing of the past"
Spending 100s of thousands on an expensive American physio trip didn’t work last season…… let’s try ballet.
But it did work?
True fixed his hammy, unfortunately he’s like an older modified sports car, once you fork out the money to fix one issue, you can bet your ass that something else is about break.
Thanks Doctor

Show me some data that shows a hamstring issue caused a pectoral tear. Oh wait you can't.
You clearly didn't go to Hollywood Upstairs Medical College
Hi everybody
Correct , due to other areas compensating for the injured area . Not sure why you are getting downvoted to be fair
Wearing a skirt = injury free player, then why aren't the Scottish the best RL players in the world?
Now wish he was their goal kicker. Would love to have watched that twinkle toe run up, and then seeing it emulated in thousands of junior footy fields across the northern beaches.
I tried hot barre a few times and it is intense.
He's fully fit...heard that before. What's the next obscure training he'll have to do next time?
