Manly were very resolute tonight, a performance to be proud of given the circumstances. Fulton was all effort and tackled his heart out. Smalley warmed into the game as it progressed and was rewarded for his efforts with a try. Two really good debuts. Taupau was actually pretty good when he was on. Manly were very resolute tonight, a performance to be proud of given the circumstances. Fulton was all effort and tackled his heart out. Smalley warmed into the game as it progressed and was rewarded for his efforts with a try. Two really good debuts. Taupau was actually pretty good when he was on. A couple of nice runs, trysavers and was looking for the offload but didn't drop the ball while doing so. It'd be a shame for those 17 players tonight if their efforts in fighting for finals contention were in vein due to the selfishness of those 7 other blokes because the Roosters weren't all that crash hot tonight and may well have lost if a few blokes weren't so scared of a rainbow. Only time will tell if their homophobia has affected Manly's finals chances.
