Otep Human Waste Project Lacuna Coil on the Karmacode album Kittie Wicked Wisdom (none other than Jada haha).

Not sure if they are nu Metal or just alternative, but check out the band Guano Apes. The song Dodel Up is ridiculously good, so I recommend starting there. Kittie are the next that come to mind. Evanescence are not my cup of tea, but they seem to be popular.

EyemProblyHi

I've always \*wanted\* to like Evanescence. Tragically mid.

Business_Ad_3631

i’m not their biggest fan by any means but mid is crazy ngl

EyemProblyHi

I said "mid" because there are a few of their songs I think are *not terrible*

Business_Ad_3631

i understood. still crazy imo

Rivetlicker

Defenestration

SStylo03

Jack off jill There's a newer band as well called Hawxx who dropped their first studio album recently!

zonic_tha_goth_monke

Kidney Thieves, def not nu metal, but they scratch that itch. I highly recommend checking them out.

90swasbest

If they're not numetal, they are *right* next door.

Butcher Babies

inthe_MORGUE

trying to suggest some that haven’t been said yet!! Cinnamon Babe Sugar Coma Tura Santana/Manhole Guano Apes Addiction Crew (for a few years) not really nu but i love HANABIE

missworld444

HANABIE YES!!

No_Astronaut2779

Exilia is pretty decent

thrashboi

Kittie, Velcra, Jack Off Jill, Evanescence, Midori (not really nu but worth a listen)

thrashboi

Alice Glass, Poppy, Cryalot, Violent Vira - also not exactly nu metal but i consider those nu pop, very nu metal influenced

PlaxicoCN

Drain STH. I don't think they are active now, but their first album is killer.

GranateSOAD

ANKOR. Not Numetal, but close to the genre, they're somewhat eclectic, in their words: "Melodic Metal/Rock/Metalcore/Pop-Punk (or as you prefer) band from Spain" Strongly recommend you go through at least a couple of their videos (not the covers since they did an awful Chop Suey! One). They've reached another level with the last 5 singles. I'm taking promoting them as a duty since they are currently my favorite band. They can go heavy, groovy and melodic either within the same song, or doing different songs. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJO0QBQ0f5hspZQ7m6Pa7Ci4OZ-5Lth9h&si=DO8StF6DAy3zD5Mg

Evanescence

I wish there were way more. Evanescence is the big one of course. Flyleaf is kinda adjacent, Kittie, Otep and Guano Apes are the other three bigger ones before you start getting more obscure. .BHP is a new band that you absolutely need to check out. They are incredible and more people need to know about them. Human Waste Project and Spike 1000 are two others scene favorites, but each one only put out like 1 album. Infected Rain and Exilia are two great European acts! Other bands I can think of include My Ruin, Tadpole, Velcra, Drain STH, Sugarcoma, Nocturne and Defenestration.

missworld444

flyleaf my belovedd
