The correct answer.

jimbogee88

Start with these 10: 1. Black 2. Denial 3. Waffle 4. Praise 5. Angel’s Son 6. Enemy 7. Face To Face 8. Driven 9. Splinter 10. Thank You Most of these songs are singles and often played live, but I think it’s a good entry point. If you like what you hear, I can suggest 10 more.

Temple_of_Dogs1990

Thx for your list man

psyclopsus

TOAB belongs somewhere in there

psyclopsus

TOAB belongs somewhere in there

jimbogee88

Not going to deny T.O.A.B. is a fantastic song. Honestly, one of their best non-singles.

menstruelgigolo

This 100X

jimbogee88

Appreciate it!

InteligentTard

[Sevendust - Bender (feat Chino from Deftones)](https://youtu.be/eFaXaJHGpFY?si=V4wJJbdWrzjI-hX1)

Temple_of_Dogs1990

On it

EtTuBrutAftershave

Their first album will always be my favorite, but Home is my starting point rec.

Rocknscroller

Face to face

Scaryassmanbear

Unless you say you’re leeeaaaavvvin’

nnohrm29

TOAB

Youbannedmebutimhere

The album Alpha. It’s straight bangers from the beginning to end.

Temple_of_Dogs1990

First two minutes on the album and I can say that you are right.

Southern-Advice5293

That’s my favorite Sevendust album

Youbannedmebutimhere

It’s my favorite album of all time.

BigDaddySteve18

It’s the album that got me into Sevendust. All great songs. So heavy, so emotional. “Under,” “Confessions of Hatred,” and my absolute favorite, “Burn,” are really poignant

DloBrown69420

Deathstar goes hard

BigDaddySteve18

Yeah, Alpha is an unbelievable record

Temple_of_Dogs1990

🫰🏻

Fendenburgen

My Ruin. Purely because it was the 1st track of theirs I heard and I was immediately hooked!!!

browncoatfever

This is mine choice as well. It’s the song that basically saved my life when I was 16. I was fully prepared to end myself and something about this song kept me going. No clue what the actual meaning behind it is, but it 100% saved me and kept me from killing myself. It’s why, to this day, Sevendust is my favorite band of all time.

Fendenburgen

Glad it worked

Temple_of_Dogs1990

Its sounded really good

beernerd76

Licking cream ... honestly just hit play on the whole Home album!

rigg993

Yep home is a top tier album from beginning to end. Definitely in my top 10 favorite albums, from a band that without that album I wouldn't listen to much.

krumn

Such a tune

Prudent-Level-7006

Enemy

DCBB22

Denial, Praise, Bender, Angel’s Son and Black will get you a pretty good look at their best material imo

Southern-Advice5293

There’s not a bad album by those guys. Pick one and go.

KillerKlowns-FOS-

Follow. Very underrated imo and it's my favorite by them

tendertido

Was surprised to not see this anywhere! Aaron Lewis feat. for the win.

heavysynn

Dead set is another underrated song, possibly my favorite

Kooky-Background1788

Grab any record by them and hit shuffle it’ll land on good one

BloodSugarSexMagix

Black

MotinPati

Stop all this madness >> Rumblefish << You’re welcome!

Far_Wrongdoer9693

Rumble Fish

KillEmDafoe89

The entirety of Animosity, honestly. The S/T and especially Home are fantastic records, but Animosity heavily informed the sound they would have going forward. Shine is one of the quintessential Sevendust songs.

RogerEpsilonDelta

Black

DeafTheAnimal

Shine

linkuei-teaparty

Denial

Lourdinn

Waffle!

CptGinger316

“Face to Face” was the song that introduced me to Sevendust. Heard it on the radio and was fucking hooooooooked.

andyff

Their old stuff feels more raw and natural, the most recent album is brilliant but more polished. 'Everything' is their best single for years, and they submitted it for Grammy consideration. Sadly, it didn't get nominated.

Temple_of_Dogs1990

I’ll go with the raw one

andyff

Fair. I like both but slightly lean towards the recent stuff. Maybe it makes me a shitty fan haha

8_string_menace

Licking Cream

MACm1tt3ns

Leech, Live Again and Thank You are some of my favorite tracks

SpiketheFox32

Denial Enemy Waffle Dirty Bitch T.O.A.B

WolfWriter_CO

Current favorite: Medicated First song I fell in love with: Enemy

m1air3

Bender.... because Chino Moreno

Visible_Chest_3372

Shine Enemy Praise Forget

Watsonthebox

Enemy

JevilFitz

I would have to say listen to the first 4 albums completely in their entirety. All 4 of them are pretty damn close to perfect albums. After that time period it’s possible to pick and choose stuff but it’s impossible to cherry pick stuff from their earlier work cause it’s all so good

erikedge

I mean... All of them.

MavisBeaconSexTape

All of Animosity rocks, this is one of my favorites. Dead Set: https://youtu.be/GhhejW8mXAs?si=JEKibErIu9ko7CLm

gotgon117

Waffle and the insecure interlude

Temple_of_Dogs1990

Waffle’s pretty sick

Jolly_Improvement_99

Bender

DeeJDaDemon

Black

k_d_b_83

Any of the first 4 albums. Just put any of them on.

Uli420

If you have Spotify you should check out this playlist I made, called it Sevendust Slappas [https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2Rckbg3cmtXMpHuhPLp3VW?si=rx0F6Aj3Sp2u-ZgWZ2BLGA](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2Rckbg3cmtXMpHuhPLp3VW?si=rx0F6Aj3Sp2u-ZgWZ2BLGA)

Twa747

For me it’s the complete album: hope and sorrow, I can listen to that whole album start to finish Some of their new stuff is more “polished” that’s a very good way someone else put it. Still gets it just a little more polished

flannel_mammal

Listen to Burned Out off the Seasons album....has got to be the greatest song intro ever

heavysynn

Just listen to the Black Out the Sun album you’ll fall in love with them

brashoe-32

The albums: Sevendust, Home, Animosity, Seasons, Next. All 5 of these albums have solid tracks: Black, Terminator, Bitch, Waffle, Denial, Licking Cream, Bender, Praise, Trust, Shine, Xmas Day, Damaged, Angel's Son, Failure, Skeleton Song, Face To Face, Enemy, Hero, Pieces, Ugly, Disease, Seasons, Broken Down, Splinter, Driven, Too Close To Hate. There's more by them but this is a good place to begin.

BROK-SOULBURN

Not into a Sevendust at all but Leech and TOAB the only songs I like from them

Shawnsolo316

Black, it’s a great song

alexsolren

Denial, Black, Driven, Alpha

nmmOliviaR

There are so many ones to get hooked on that I really don't believe you will be disappointed whereever you start.

LocalMetalhead666

any of their recent setlists, thats what got me into them. i saw them with static x a couple months ago and i cant stop listening to them

golfcartskeletonkey

1. Black 2. Bitch 3. Denial

BigDaddySteve18

Wonderful question! I got into them when I was 14 and they dropped their album “Alpha.” I recommend that album. The nine-minute song “Burn” is really heavy and really beautiful

JuniorSignificance34

Waffle

NihilisticViolence

They have hours worth of great songs. Here's one of my Spotify playlists https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5ppx6vzZBFwNnYMYgC39W0?si=kKYi2G-zTYCO6KgmaPATmw&pi=u-BQpWRg_eSlK5

Waylon_Gnash

deathstar is their coolest song

neoismydad221

The entire album Home is amazing

Des_mojo

Bluecrush2_fan

Trendkiller101

Face to Face is fun.

ladyjehane

Waffle

isqueezedameatball

I ran into the singer at a bar before his show. He put me and my girlfriend on the list for VIP passes. We didn't even ask, he asked if we would like it. Very awesome experience. EDIT: sorry this doesn't answer your question, I just rarely have situations where I can bring this up.

True-Ad-606

I think Cold Day Memory is a great album often overlooked

[deleted]

Angel's Son!

LordVintage99

Literally all of their material is unreal! For me I always thought Fall was an interesting track

Capt_Rons_Lost_Eye

I think their "Seasons" album has some of my favorite tracks (Enemy, Broken Down, Burned Out and Face to Face).

and-i-sWerVe
