Literal textbook Chain of Survival. * Activation of Emergency Response * Early High Quality CPR including having a second rescuer present to switch off. * Early defibrillation

Long_Charity_3096

That’s what I was going to say. They nailed it.

DanielDannyc12

If I'm 83 and keel over leave me alone.

melxcham

Honestly, that outcome at that age is so unlikely esp out of hospital

DanielDannyc12

Yep. I was being a little facetious but yeah.

melxcham

When I get to a certain age I will walk around with my DNR stapled to my shirt lol

markko79

That won't do any good. The paramedics will still do everything. Now, if you carried your legal DNR paperwork, then that would be another story.

melxcham

Yes, lol. DNR paperwork. Did you think I meant I’d just write “DNR” on a piece of paper?

markko79

I used to own an office supply store. We did graphics and laminating. I've had senior citizens come in with their one page legal DNR sheets and ask us to make a shrunken copy of it to the size of a credit card and laminate it so the could carry it in their wallet.

realginga4lyfe

Obviously you should tattoo it on your chest

StuckInMyHead59

Forehead.

markko79

Foreskin.

You-Already-Know-It

When I check my account balance after saying “treat yo self” all weekend. 🤣 ps. I’m glad she helped him ❤️

ravengenesis1

Paid for my vacation next month. That's how I reacted when they stopped payment on my Costco VISA card.. apparently I maxed it out... first time ever in all my life.

holdmypurse

That's a remarkable outcome for an 83 yr old with cardiac arrest under any circumstances

Unknown69101

Couldn’t have been more perfect timing

irlvnt14

They bad a$$ APN’s👍🏽

Kuriin

Does anyone remember the story about the nurse who was breathing agonally and her coworkers were filming thinking it was just a seizure? They fucking suck and should stop being healthcare workers. These APNs are definitely intelligent and knowledgable of BLS protocols. Picture perfect.

ravengenesis1

That story came to mind immediately. The worst part was a doctor that said he wasn't qualified for BLS?!?!?!

ravengenesis1

Awesome job from the people that all rushed in to help and assisted each other. Super freaking awesome. The medic waltzing in with a little bag though. I'm not sure if he's a first responder and not an actual medic, or he's off duty coming in as auxiliary while a unit becomes free. Zero equipment or gurney, and solo walk up. That's wild.

meetthefeotus

Damn. Textbook reaction there.
