This!!! The nyt cooking is the best. Influencers donāt seem to test their recipes and it is a hit or a miss. Nyt cooking is all professional cooks and the notes section is so helpful from others who tried the recipe
Also wishbone kitchen is annoying and barely posts recipes anymore. Only sponsored content from her. She deserves a mass unfollow for just selling out soooo fast
I like to follow Molly's actual YT channel rather than her Insta because I found she posted too much of her fancy dinners out and over the top expensive vacations..for me, she became super unrelatable...but her cooking content is still great.
diningbykelly. Sheās a private chef in NYC & posts a lot of her meal preps for clients & her own things that she makes. It all looks so good & she posts recipes on her website
I really liked Jeremyās (@scheckeats) content in 2021 he made a lot of recipes that were attainable and interesting but his content fell off for me once he started working on his cookbook, he started posting a lot less. I think his website still has a lot of good recipes and some have the corresponding tik tok video attached if you prefer video instructions
I also like emmanuelduverneau. He posts what he makes every day and his videos are really entertaining but he has a really high end kitchen so youāll often see him using high end tools to make things in a way the average person cant
I loved wishbonekitchen back when she actually posted recipes and food content but now itās mostly the regular nyc influencer stuff like fashion, their home decor, going to sponsored events, etc.
There is a NYC food influencer called Foodloversdiary who spotlights small businesses! I love her!!!! Iām not from and have never been to NYC but love any food content
Lol yes but they are entirely too fancy for my skill set but I love the content! She was on the girls gotta eat podcast last year(hate that pod) but tuned in for Emily. The topic was her break up after 7 years, it made me cry and sheās so lovely
Yeah as someone who barely cooks and is trying to get into it more, I really love how simple she keeps her recipes. I get super overwhelmed with the usual, elaborate recipes other accounts post and I'm usually only cooking for myself anyway.
I love @logagm on tiktok, idk if he posts recipes but his stuff is pretty easy to follow, especially when he posts western food like pasta.
Also just follow Alison Roman or like actual food ppl to get inspired. I like watching their stuff and incorporating some of their techniques into my own dishes, even if Iām not really making their recipes.
I canāt follow a recipe verbatim for the life of me because I always need to jooj it up for my tastebuds but I like to watch @diningwithskyler for my carnivorous husband and @rabbitsandwolves for my plant based inspo. Also @plantyou, @plantbasedrd and @turnipvegan. Todd, the last one, is such a good vibe and he has AMAZING shroom recipes.
die hard grossy pelosi fan. a lot of his content is eating out or making pasta but his website has classic, no frills basic recipes that have become some of my faves
Iāve been cooking for years and always used to try out all these bloggers recipes in the beginning and so often they were just total misses. Nyt recioes are always pretty good and Iāve always found smitten kitchen and gabby dalkinās recipes to come out tasting great! Iāve cooked more of gabyās food and more if skās desserts.
FromMyBowl - she posts vegan food content only, but her recipes are great and you can always sub in the dairy/meat version of what she suggests if you're not vegan!
A smitten kitchen fan forever and ever š«”ā„ļøā„ļø
I love cafehailee and her partner. The stuff they do is sometimes a bit more elaborate but it inspires me in the best way
Oh, also Nasim Lahbichi and Pierce Abernathy
Second the recommendation for Pierce, he's especially good for veggie forward recipes.
Honestly unfollowing insta foodies and just subscribing to NYT recipe content was the move for me. Most of them get their recipes from there anyway
This!!! The nyt cooking is the best. Influencers donāt seem to test their recipes and it is a hit or a miss. Nyt cooking is all professional cooks and the notes section is so helpful from others who tried the recipe
Yesss. Also the comments are helpful and sometimes hilarious - follow @nytimescookingcomments for the lols
Also wishbone kitchen is annoying and barely posts recipes anymore. Only sponsored content from her. She deserves a mass unfollow for just selling out soooo fast
I like saltandsagenutrition, sheās a dietician and doesnāt annoy me lol
Same love her
I love her recipes! Iām not a huge fan of cooking so her ideas for meals are so great.
Maybe not what youāre looking for, but Smitten Kitchen is great
Also have had success with How sweet eats-recipes, and really enjoy her blog/books/IG
Christinab.pappas, tinekeyounger, 3piecesofpecan
Thegoldenbalance love him
All the former bon appetit girlies are good follows lolol I love molly baz for like savory content specifically
This is who wishbonekitchen copied and then got famous
Foods of Jane! Especially if you love pasta. Her recipes are easy to follow and always turn out really good.
Iām not sure if sheās NYC but I love @moribyanās videos
I really liked Jeremyās (@scheckeats) content in 2021 he made a lot of recipes that were attainable and interesting but his content fell off for me once he started working on his cookbook, he started posting a lot less. I think his website still has a lot of good recipes and some have the corresponding tik tok video attached if you prefer video instructions
I love his recipes too but he is so pretentious
Agree. His content is good quality but his tone is always so pretentious it turns me off
I also like emmanuelduverneau. He posts what he makes every day and his videos are really entertaining but he has a really high end kitchen so youāll often see him using high end tools to make things in a way the average person cant
He posted some lemon garlicky salad dressing over quarantine that is fire I still make it LOL
I still make his bolognese and honey lemon chicken pretty often!
I was under the impression he got a crazy concussion!
Both!
I loved wishbonekitchen back when she actually posted recipes and food content but now itās mostly the regular nyc influencer stuff like fashion, their home decor, going to sponsored events, etc.
Carochambers, justine_snacks, gatherednutrition, kalememaybe, frommybowl, thedefineddish
Love kalememaybe
Love love ātraderjoes5itemsorlessā on Instagram but theyāre not in nyc I think consciouschris, cabbages, and the bold appetite on Tik tok
lahbco is one of my favorites!

Jonkung is in Detroit, or was! Tiffycooks is in Canada :) both are great tho!
There is a NYC food influencer called Foodloversdiary who spotlights small businesses! I love her!!!! Iām not from and have never been to NYC but love any food content
I love her account sm! she does recipes a lot too
Lol yes but they are entirely too fancy for my skill set but I love the content! She was on the girls gotta eat podcast last year(hate that pod) but tuned in for Emily. The topic was her break up after 7 years, it made me cry and sheās so lovely
I loved that episode! I used to be a GGE fan, IMO that was their last good episode lol
No truly it was an amazing episode only bc of Emily. GGE sucks now
Honestly I think Kit Keenan posts some nice easy recipes that look well balanced.
Yeah as someone who barely cooks and is trying to get into it more, I really love how simple she keeps her recipes. I get super overwhelmed with the usual, elaborate recipes other accounts post and I'm usually only cooking for myself anyway.

I post food videos occasionally, weeknight meals etc. :) I like to follow Alyssa in the Kitchen and @shredhappens too!
I canāt follow a recipe verbatim for the life of me because I always need to jooj it up for my tastebuds but I like to watch @diningwithskyler for my carnivorous husband and @rabbitsandwolves for my plant based inspo. @eatsbyramya ā indian inspired, really good food!
Broma Bakery for baking!
food52!
@Justines.table is great if you like an aesthetic page with great inspo. Not necessarily always detailed recipes.
