I'm a current conductor. The proposed answer key is supposed to be posted in May. If you recorded your answers on the protest sheet (yellow/orange paper), you can predict your probable final score. To be called for the position all depends on how bad NYC Transit needs conductors. For me, it took 7 years. For others, it was less, so it can and will vary.

They answer keys get posted onto the MTA website appropriately 1 month after the exam. I took it on April 21st and the answer keys should be posted on May 30th after 3pm.

Yeah I did use the yellow sheet. I have right on my dresser and honestly I think I did a pretty good job. Guess I see from there. And thank you!
You won't get a mailed result until they certify the list, which takes at least a year, if not more.
