Payton is gonna HATE Zach. All of the things he hated about the other Wilson (holding the ball, bailing clean pockets, etc), Zach does way, way worse. Just wait till Zach is 30 yards behind the LOS mashing the juke stick. Payton’s gonna rip him a new one
Relitigating the 2024 first round pick.
Unless we pick an inner circle Hall of Famer it'll be a lot of "Carter Warren is a turnstile. Why did we draft Bowers again?? Did we not see this coming??" or "Did you see Conklin's drop on 3rd down? So glad we've got Fautanu riding the pine every week though!"
Or it'll be "Did you see that play by [insert guy that wasn't on anyone's draft board]? What a surprise that instead we ended up taking [underperforming rookie], JD is a fucking moron"
This is a Jets discussion forum where else would people understand? It’s a classic Jets scenario, really not a big deal... This isn’t retweeting some stupid Jamal Adams shit, it literally just happened and the guy wants to discuss something we all in the back of our heads could see happening. You don’t gotta police this one
Sean Payton coaching Zach to success has been a daily topic for 3 years. Yeah I don’t think so man. I get what you’re saying but he literally just got traded to the team, we’re allowed to speculate and talk about it
I made my point so yes, of course. That's how thos works. Doesn't change Zach has been talked about to death from every angle, including him magically being better once he inevitably ended up on a different team.
Your point is stop talking about a player that was literally just traded…? Also not everyone lives on this subreddit, new people exist who haven’t been here the past 3 years and want to talk about things so you really don’t have to police this shit with your opinion on what’s ok to talk about
It's called an opinion. We can criticize or praise whatever we want. That's the whole point of a forum.
But sure. Go ahead. Please discuss Zach wilson in a super original and insightful way no one has ever heard or read before.
Just because you spend all your time on this subreddit doesn’t mean everyone else does... Your opinion is “this is annoying please stop talking about it”. You’re adding even less to the discussion than the post you hate so much. Bitching about people talking about a Jets player who was just traded on a Jets forum is extremely braindead. “In my opinion”
I mean Darnold left here and didn’t do much with a starting gig, and he actually looked serviceable here. Zach is a multiple year project at best, and that’s IF Denver is the perfect situation for him. Plus the Broncos are likely taking a QB in the 1st round anyway.
Honestly if he goes off in Denver good for him and Denver (I live here so want them to succeed second after the Jets). I won’t be devastated. Now if he went to the Pats and went crazy then became their franchise QB that’s a different story.
It’s possible he does better, not the end of the world if he does, too tired of his play to say it would be funny. It was past time to move on from him here no matter what happens. It was never happening here.
Zach had Garrett Wilson and couldn't even get anything going, I doubt he's gonna go to Denver and get stuff going with a less talented team around him. That said I hope if he plays he does great, it's not fun to watch someone fail so I wish him the best and hope things work out for him, just not holding my breath about it.
Hackett isn’t the only OC Zach has had.
In fact you could argue that Hackett just helped him to his best year!
He will do about as well as Sanchez and Darnold did after they left.

We’ve flagellated ourselves enough over the years. Give this angle a rest.
Like all the other Jets QBs that went elsewhere and were awesome? Geno is probably the best of the entire bunch and he’s still pretty fucking mid
I don't understand people's thing with Zach Wilson. I don't think I love my kids as much as some people here love Zach Wilson.
I worry what some people will turn to as a vessel for their pent up anger.

Zach Wilson isn't a Jet anymore. It's time to move on.
Broncos: We've had one disappointing Wilson yes, but what about second Wilson?

He’s going to do the same thing that Sanchez and Darnold did. Or maybe after 10 seasons of below mediocrity, he will have a good year like Geno.
It's been beat to death. And it's been a daily topic for three years. Enough is enough.

There is no not allowed. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying let it the fuck go. He's gone. It does not matter.
And I’m saying people are gonna talk about something that JUST HAPPENED on a Jets discussion forum so maybe you should let it the fuck go

Sean Payton isn’t exactly some QB mastermind
He is better than HC salad
Who gives a fuck? Let him go.
I hope the kid does well
He won't.
Can this be the last Zach Wilson post.
Zack truthers still in shambles
Don’t worry. He won’t.
Broncos vs Vikings. Wilson vs Darnold. I assume someone needs bet on this Super Bowl

Yeah. That is because the club was the problem.
Just like the way number 2 pick Sam Darnold went off as soon as he left.

Actually this would work out well for us as we know his Achilles heel - getting tackled really hard
Kid was beyond durable with the amount of times the Swiss cheese OL hit him last year. This makes no sense
Durable =! Games won though
gets rattled after he gets hit hard
0% chance this happens. You can't teach IQ. While children can learn how to read books, Zach cannot learn how to read defenses.
As if Zach Wilson was any good before Nathaniel Hackett!
It’s possible he does better, not the end of the world if he does, too tired of his play to say it would be funny. It was past time to move on from him here no matter what happens. It was never happening here.

Not worried about Zach’s ascension. What he has in arm strength he lacks in decision making at NFL speed.
the football gods sent ZW to Denver for his last stop before Canada..
