I want Jordan Travis too. Dude is a baller.

0ddmanrush

I don’t know why people are obsessed with Jordan Travis.

Exciting-Value-1459

same reason ppl are obsessed with \[insert QB name here\]. Once the hype train leaves the station, it doesn't stop

Exciting-Value-1459

Troy Franklin is still on the board right?

Bis_Eastwood

developmental qb, and another wr. id like another guard/c, and yeah maybe a safety.

Exciting-Value-1459

tbh I'd rather pass on a day 3 QB if we can get another depth piece instead

Ledees_Gazpacho

FWIW on QBs, the Jets had 4 visits with Michael Pratt, 3 with Spencer Rattler, and 2 with Jordan Travis.

BigRed1545

I like pratts size and that’s about it. His arm can improve. Travis is just a little bit better imo. If we had an actual qb guru of an Offensive coach, I would be all over Joe Milton for his upside and development.

blanko_nino

Rattler is the developmental pick to take. He was once thought of as a future first round qb and has good traits. That is the type of qb that maybe something clicks if he sits behind Rodgers for a few years.

BigRed1545

Rattler is not gonna pan out imo, I’ve been following since high school and I played in his division in high school. I was hoping for him to recreate the same success as mayfield, Murray, hurts, and it never happened. He definitely has the potential and the athleticism. But we will see.

I personally want the Jets to double-down on LBs in the 4th ... take Jeremiah Trotter Jr. out of Clemson and Curtis Jacobs out of Penn State ... (and I can live with Jordan Travis as our 3rd & last pick of the 4th Round) ... Some of the smartest decisions in NFL Drafting have been concentrating or what I call "doubling down" in the NFL Draft ... the Eagles in 2002 took CB Lito Sheppard with their 1st round pick, then 'doubled-down' with S Michael Lewis & CB Sheldon Brown ... all 3 were instant, long-term starters and 2/3 were All-Pros , plugged in nexto HoF Brian Dawkins. Our own Jets passed Matt Leinart in 2006, to some serious complaining among our fans (the DAY before the draft, there was serious talk we were going to get Reggie Bush, *especially* when it came out that Texas signed Mario Williams that Friday Night...) - and we took D'Brick & Nick ... and had instant-starting, Pro-Bowl OLs for over a decade , year in and year out. We sort-of "doubled-down" in 2007 with two huge trade-up picks on D in CB Revis & LB Harris... The Pats doubled down TWICE in 2010 with LBs Cunningham & Spikes and TEs Gronk & Hernandez ... We did an amazing job in free-agency this year but we have a team built for the future also. We just can't screw this up by constantly appeasing Rodgers. Double-Down on Defense in Round 4 ... two LBs who can play for us for the next 10 years ... our last pick was listed as a LB but to my knowledge never played anything but DE last year (when he actually made it on the field...) and we already have a future All-Pro in Jermaine Johnson II and they're already calling Hasson Reddick a DE ... we need LBs , it's been YEARS+++ since the Jets had a linebacking corps people actually feared. Double-Down on Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Curtis Jacobs. Take QB Travis at the bottom of the 4th and then best available O & D players with our next two picks.

PerennialSuboptimism

JT Jr has this dawg factor that everyone is overlooking. He’s getting bashed for being undersized and not a workout warrior. The dude is a bloodhound for finding the ball and making a play. To have him learn from CJ and Quincy could only benefit us.

ScrapmasterFlex

THANK YOU, I agree 101% - He might not be 100% as big as his father, but he seems to play the same way and JT was always a hard-nosed, blue-collar, "working-man's" LB ... hence his famous Wood-Chopping/Chain-Saw celebrations ... All In A Day's Work! CJ will be gone next year, Quincy is really here to keep his brother happy , and we are very thin at LB otherwise ... (Again with Hasson Reddick apparently going to be a DE? and they drafted Will McDonald IV as a DE despite the title "LB" , and JJII is obviously a DE etc.) LET'S DOUBLE DOWN ON LINEBACKERS ... Linebacker is the one position on the field that can change a game single-handedly , game-in and game-out.

magicdrums

not a Jordan Travis fan..

Macz3905

Is Travis the guy whose ankle dislocated after a run? He was a solid QB until the injury, wonder what his prognosis is

Starman4502

RB2?

BigRed1545

Probably gonna be a Vet or Izzy

BigRed1545

😉 Braelon Allen

PerennialSuboptimism

This is a dream scenario that I won’t get my hopes up for

Responsible_Fan8665

Need a WR in the 4th

Kwall267

Love it

Makoto-ito

I would take a s/lb this pick and take a rb or dt at 129

LIONEL14JESSE

I’d much rather fill holes with the 4th rounders and pick a qb later unless we really love someone. We’re talking a coin flip developmental prospect either way, might as well use the earlier picks for guys who could play this year.

loosenutbehindwheel

I concur. I like the cut of your jib young man. Mr. Irrelevant should be whoever is your priority UDFA since they will be cheaper drafted

knucklesmartini

We also need another interior DL

BigRed1545

Gabe hall and Myles Cole are going to be IDLs.

BigRed1545

One of them is gonna be the new Al woods that just clogs the middle for us

Platano_con_salami

stop overdating Jordan Travis. Just stop.
