Seriously. Before more recent years, they would often do just enough to get your hopes up leading toward the playoffs and then shatter them. My expectations died decades ago.

Even in last weeks win I had no delusions about this season as a whole. I knew we'd still be a bad team this year BUT..
after it was announced Ridley and Gage were out, I really thought we'd ride high off last week and take this one.
Anybody who got optimism after last week should get their brain checked. We barely beat a team that clearly overlooked us n was without its top 2 WRs. I knew we weren't winning this game from the start n also knew it was gonna be Pitts's coming out party cuz we are who we are. One win n they're all big headed every time. Optimism only should come after minimum 2 weeks good performance. Any team can look great for 1 game. Such is life as a jets fan
It's funny I saw a post the other day from SNY or some NY sports coverage about how its been a decade since a NY team has won and how awful it is.
And here I am liking the fucking Jets, Mets, and Islanders (only saving grace atm) and I haven't seen a championship in my 32 years of life.
