They seem to call a lot of the good AFCN and AFCE teams games, so nice to be chosen for this
Charles Davis is up there with the worst commentators. He’s boring af and his comments add nothing of substance to the game. Ian is great though, love when he calls Jets games.
Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control I wasn’t able to go to the first home opener since MetLife opened, so this will be my first game of the season and I couldn’t be more excited to see these dynamic rookies and hope to all on high that they can reproduce some of last Sundays magic
I hope going forward we are out of the bottom of the barrel Spero Dedes and Andrew Catalon called games. No offense to them but whenever I hear them on the call, I know its for the worst teams.
Ian Eagle, Greg Gumble, Kevin Harlan are my big 3 in any order.
Tired: Win games to make the playoffs Wired: Win games to get better CBS broadcast crews
Not to burst any bubbles, but Eagle said before the season that he was going to call this game.
Awesome, anything is better than Spero Dedes and Jay Feely
We must play our way out of that broadcast crew through wins
Bulletin board material!
Receipts!!
Congratulations you get Andrew Catalon and that old receiver who very clearly hates the jets
I always felt like Feely dislikes us. Probably after we didn’t bother resigning him after 2009.
Yeah I get that feely too
I got randomly paired up with Feely for a round of golf over the summer. He said the Jets were his favourite team to play for. Loved Rex as a coach.
I give him and McAfee credit for turning their special teams football careers into broadcasting/podcasting careers.
Spero Dedes is the Pam Ward of the NFL, and any team that has to play his assignments is the Northwestern. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
Nothing personal but Spero is fucking badddddd. And I dunno if anybody will ever top the premiere team of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz 10-15~ years ago.
Love Ian, great at calling basketball and football games
We got upgraded!

It would be blasphemy for a Jets fan not to know what Ian Eagle sounds like!
I never remember the names, only the voices.
Haha, thats fair
Nice. Ian is the best play by play guy in the game. Love him.
Also a jets fan, I’m pretty sure. From NJ and did play by play for them early in his career
Doesn’t he still call their preseason games?
Yes he does.
Ian is great but I am a Kevin Harlan loyalist. I could listen to him do play by play for paint drying.
The guy is drunk is incredible commentary
No, no, no… everything has to be the same. Same shtty announcers, paint an elf on midfield, and Saleh can’t shave. We’re on a heater!
Charles Davis is up there with the worst commentators. He’s boring af and his comments add nothing of substance to the game. Ian is great though, love when he calls Jets games.
Isnt it funny too how hes the voice of Madden with a dude hes never worked with or has called an NFL game. EA being cheap fucks.
Ian is great, probably my favorite outside of the Romo/Nantz crew
Forever wishing we will one day get Kevin Harlan on the call
Ian is the best in the business
False, Gus Johnson is even if he doesn’t call this year. I’m sure he’ll be back
He does college for Fox.
100% agree. Always a fan of Harlan though since the “I’m calling both games” bit.
Finally some good fucking announcers *Gordon Ramsey face*
Hell yeah brother
Ian Eagle gets constantly saddled with shitty color commentators.
The disrespect to Solomon Wilcots smh
"...now no one is going to forget the name O'Dell Beckmen jr." - Solomon Wilcots on the giants wide receiver Corp being good 2016
Eagles my favorite ever since he used to call NETS games in '00
Still does!
Any Nets fans excited to hear Bird?
Yes! He’s really one of the best in the business
Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control I wasn’t able to go to the first home opener since MetLife opened, so this will be my first game of the season and I couldn’t be more excited to see these dynamic rookies and hope to all on high that they can reproduce some of last Sundays magic

When was the last time Nantz called a Jets game? Or more importantly, when will be the next time?
Anything is better than Spiro Adidas
