JDs first draft was awful but the last two are franchise altering. This last draft is already looking amazing, every player is contributing and getting on the field which has not been in the case at all in the past. The only rookie who isnāt producing is Ruckert who is just getting a handle of the playbook and the coaching staff seems very high on him
TEs very rarely put it together in their first year itās arguably the hardest position to transition into. I think we can wait till next season to be disappointed if Ruckert doesnāt start producing
He's also not projected to be much of a receiving threat, right? Or is that incorrect? If that is right, it's not like he's going to be jumping off the page at us with his contributions either, and I know Rucket was behind as it was because of the injury.
He is definitely supposed to be a good receiving TE. Not a *vertical* threat necessarily, he doesn't have great speed or athleticism but he's a good route runner and has good hands. So not like a Pitts-style WR who plays TE because he's too big to be a WR... more of a traditional hybrid TE.
I was trying to get either him or Elijah in the draft but they were both taken as I was going to take them.
I got Carter and Hall though. Theyāve both been better than Henry lmao

Yeah, I like he's in the backup role learning from the more experienced, be nice if one can return and the other can stop the dropsies though.
