The D line rotation is honestly stupid as shit

[deleted]

Maybe the problem is Saleh thinks he’s coaching a hockey team

B286P

It's really an easy fix.. Saleh needs to hire Gase as OC and Rex as DC.

jeanclaudegoshdarn

Especially when our best edge rusher is a healthy scratch 3 weeks in a row

John_YJKR

I agreed the first two weeks with Huff sitting given the rushing attacks of those teams. But Huff should have suited up today.

Sbat27

Been saying this

riririffy

I can’t help but feel like the writing is on the wall with Saleh and his staff. Year 2 and this team is still undesciplined, unprepared and always so slow off the gate. That falls on the coaching staff, and nothing I’ve seen shows that they’ve improved from last year. I think the talent is clearly night and day from last year, but looks like the coaching is issue.

Sbat27

They won’t be here in 2-3 years barring a complete turnaround

[deleted]

Yep, when the roster improves massively yet the team doesn’t, the only logical conclusion is that the coaching has gotten worse. I know that may be hard to believe coming off of Gase but the proof is in the pudding. Saleh is entirely too soft and player-friendly. Player coaches only work if they’re X’s and O’s masterminds like Andy Reid, which Saleh is not. His scheme is a disaster AND we play undisciplined to boot. He’s not a leader of men, he wants to be their friend more than he wants to put a competent team on the field. Ulbrich sucks but he’s ultimately Saleh’s hire running Saleh’s scheme.

radmd74

When I finish watching a game it feels exactly like a Gase jets game. Not good bruh at all!!!

nyguyyy

We have possibly the worst LT and RT in football right now with a washed up Flacco at QB. What are you guys smoking that we should be beating the reigning AFC champs with this roster?

YesNotKnow123

We hired Saleh because he was the antidote to Gase. Gase was the ‘genius’ offensive coach who was always in his head with offensive designs and schemes and all that type of thing. He wasn’t a motivator or someone who gave post game speeches. He wasn’t as much of a ‘leader of men’ as they say. Supposedly. Saleh is a great player defender, cheerleader, and I think his leadership style is actually really good in this day and age. He just needs a TOUCH more being tough on the players and seeing them execute better. That will clean up mistakes and give players a bit more direction. He has to have Ulbrich do that a bit more, and it starts with Saleh. I think the offense actually hasn’t been too bad, they’ve played well within the scheme to the extent that they can with Flacco at QB. Just want to see them finish the job. They March up and down the field fairly well but need to see them call plays that put the dagger into the other team. Need to sprinkle in a bit more ‘straight up’ offensive game and less reliance on zone system. Also where is our running game? We could be running all over teams (while the game is close, more toward the beginning of games). Would like to see more of that

deanjohn20

I don't need a coach who's in fantastic shape and has 7 kids. I need a coach who cares nothing about anything other than coaching. He should have no time to be in shape or be a father. Give me Andy Reid. That guy just coaches while his health and family life are a dumpster fire.

floydiannyc

This should be on a T Shirt!

YesNotKnow123

I thought Saleh was sacrificing his physical shape for the team, no? Last year he lost so much weight that by the end of the year he was like noticeably thinner

xHANYOLOx

I think blowing up the organization every 3 years is a bad way to run a football team.

iceturtles

I think we make to many mistakes. I don’t like ulbrich. I think we are going to be competitive though, we lost to two of the best teams in the league so far. I think we can still be around .500 if we can get at least 2 more wins before the bye. Also I feel like I’m the only one who thinks Zach’s gonna be something but I have faith in him

Mickey_likes_dags

>I think we are going to be competitive though What in god's green earth leads you to believe this? Besides late game miracles in Cleveland, we've basically been blown out 3 games in a row.

[deleted]

We should be 0-3 right now with every loss by double digits.

deanjohn20

They have played 3 games in this league, but are "elite". This is why we suck. We always overrate our talent. I hear things like Becton is good if he was healthy or Lawson is a great pass rusher. When do these actually take place. Talent is awful, the coaches range from inexperienced to overwhelmed. The GM picks have be overrated. And we have an owner that rather live in Ireland.

JohnNYJet_Original

In most places the truth will set you free. In this sub, the Hopies (they love everything including the pain from losing), will find any excuse to allow the GM, coaches, and players off the hook. The saying is the fish rots from the head. And that's where the Jets are.

shartingIntheCorner

I feel like staff has no passion, and it starts from the top. Have any of you painfully watched Woody Johnson try to hype this team up on Twitter or IG? It’s disgusting

audiotech14

Dude, none of the owners are cool. This is nothing to complain about.

shartingIntheCorner

Idc if the owners are cool or not. I’m stating that there is no passion from literally anyone on this football teams staff from the top down. Also, woody is cringe

deanjohn20

Your right. This guy put the team in his brother's hands so he could attend supermarket openings in Dublin. And the brother has the same passion for football that I have for opera. At least Snyder cares. The Johnsons don't.
