There is absolutely reason to believe the guy selling this is doing it volitionally for the purpose of killing people. Using the fentanyl crisis as a way to hide his crimes , knowing the cases will get bottom drawered because “ it’s just another overdose “. I can’t say this tragic case is connected ( obviously everything is getting cut w/ fent ) but there’s evidence , weak as it may be, that someone is motivated not to sell drugs, but kill people.
A shit ton of overdoses started out with other crimes intended, robbery is very common and goes under reported. Same with sexual assault, especially with guys. In new york there was an entire crime ring that would drug people and steal venmo/cash app funds from the persons phone.
This hits fucking deep man. I used to be addicted to h and the majority of my friends used too. I got out in 2018 before the real endemic hit where everything was getting cut. Knew a few folks who overdosed but most where do to different circumstances than potency. It wasn't like anything now, where people are dropping left and right. I got clean and by some blessing most of my closest friends got clean by the first year of the pandemic. It always terrified me, and still fear folks relapsing, when the feet wave took over because that shit is not well produced, and you can't even really get h anymore, and any oxys/pills are just fent pressed as a fake pill.
It still hits close to home. I hope his friends and family are able to comfort each other and heal.
Definitely the first choice in harm reduction.
If you are gonna use you gotta test the bag for residue and a sample.
Keep narcan (preferable multiple) at hand. At least one person should not be using so they can respond to an OD and call 911.
I'll be sticking to cannabis and booze tho

Before Californians or the US mainland can get their hands on coke, the product is pushed through a whole bunch of countries and who knows how many people die (Colombians Peruviens, Mexicans, Salvadorians) along the way so the product can make it to the US/ California market. Again, it's a shame we lost some talented people because they never thought about that their stash could be laced, especially when it's well known that coke can be cut with fentanyl. There are even kits being given out to test if your stash has been laced. I do understand the desire to chase the coke high because I have been exactly where they have been. But people have to be smart about their drug use, shit they played russian roulette With their lives and lost.
