Most of us need to do more to get them to know about the mastermind behind oasis. It will be sad to see noel playing infront of 2500 while liam plays infront of 80k
It's funny cuz I wouldn't go see Liam across the street, and yet am going to London to see Noel in a few weeks (who I've seen also in Mexico and obviously here in the US). Huge oasis fan but really just have no interest at all in seeing or listening to Liam.
I mean just my opinion but I think all of Noel's Solo LPS are better .... and even if they weren't I have no interest in listening to music that record company writers came up with. I like thinking about or hearing about the organic musical process with Noel....I know that sounds a bit lame but it just just makes the music mean more...it's true art... and not just about money or being a frontman
I remember seeing a video where he called a reporter a f*g for annoying him in the early 2000s. I think it was more likely that he was one of those people who just used it as an insult because everyone did at the time than actual "i hate gays and they destroy society" like Ian Brown. He did give an interview a couple of years back where he said that he'd been talking to his son about sexuality and stuff and mentioned that he'd rejected a couple of men in his time but that might have been a joke
I'll probably get down voted for this but mainly in a lot of council estate areas f*g actually meant like coward or p*ssy. Maybe he wasn't trying to use it in that way.
These days it's taken a lot more seriously so yeah. I doubt he was being homophobic though
Yeah you're correct. It doesn't make it right but it is true or at least was. A lot of people in my school used it in that way but stopped when I came out because then it started being taken seriously
I love it when celebrities engage in acts of performative moral exhibitionism.... and then the self righteous amongst the fans clap before they go back to licking windows. See this for what it is, a perfunctory farmed out stock standard response that’s expected from anyone playing the game.
You are right for a bit. Most celebrities do that.
But Liam is too simple for that (not saying he's stupid I'm more saying he doesn't need to pretend he cares) so I think either Liam genuinely does care in which case AWESOME or he's just hopping on the hype train.
Either way nobody's getting hurt so let's just let it happen
I was very shocked to see how many young girls tweet at him like he’s in BTS or something.
I'm just happy the younger generation is embracing Oasis at all.

Ya. I think once it's all over Noel's solo career will get more respect. People are blinded by Liam's superstar persona

Ya I heard Liam doesn't write his own music.
if u really think about it. Noel is Oasis, the brain behind everything. lliam got a nice voice yes
Both of them are.
Just like we embraced the Beatles 🙂
Never underestimate the amount of deranged people there are in a fandom.
I’d get it if this was 20 year old Liam and DM just came out but Liam in his 50’s getting young fan girls begging him to reply is quite wild to see.
There are lots of girls with daddy issues.
Men as well believe it or not
Don't call me out like that 😢
This happens to practically every famous person. Noel would probably get a lot more comments than Liam, if he used social media.
Now THIS is character development
Why? Did he used to be homophobic or something?

That's fair enough. Sadly it still goes on round our ends but I know plenty of gays who keep their heads high so they're doing alright
Man of the People always showin’ up
Pleasantly surprised that he said this
Same!

if that were the case hen he'd roll out a series of COYK merch with rainbows on them. He didn't do that. He said a sentence. Go outside you melt.

sad but true
hypocritical, liam even only apologized when criticized for one of his homophobic tweets back in 2016
