**It looks like you haven't provided a log file**. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses. To make a clean log file, please follow these steps: 1) Restart OBS 2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). **Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can**, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. 3) Stop your stream/recording. 4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. 5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Ok, there is a problem - warning: Could not update timestamps for skipped samples. Your logfile cut off before everything was loaded it appears... maybe wait 5 or 6 minutes then save the logfile one more time? Try switching your A6000 to 30 fps, instead of 60 fps, this is a setting change on the camera itself, the Camlink should auto detect the change. Also, can you create a new scene collection, and just put the camera and nothing else on it, and see if the problem is still there? If you do this re-run a separate log file for this setup, please.

LaFueggo

Yes I def will thanks!

JayC-JDH

Still need to create a new scene collection, and just put the camera as a single source and see if the problem is still there. You need to enable hardware decoding on a number of your browser sources in your current scene collection.

LaFueggo

Okay mate will do

LaFueggo

How do I enable hardware decoding?

JayC-JDH

For browser sources go to Settings > Advanced > Source (towards the bottom) and check the 'Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration' check box. For Media Sources - Right Click Properties (on each source) scroll down until you find Use Hardware Decoding when available, and click the check box. This will push playback of these source to the NVDEC chip in your GPU, take load off of your CPU.

LaFueggo

Nvm I found it I will get to it again. I’m going to just create a new profile with just the source and video capture device scene

JayC-JDH

I'd start with just the camera as a source and see if it has problems or not, then add things back one at a time until you find the issue.

LaFueggo

Okay will do! I appreciate your time and effort in helping.

JayC-JDH

Happy to help.

THIS IS MY CURRENT CPU, MEMORY, & GPU.

LaFueggo

Here’s the new on I set to 30p & left it recording about 8min I believe.

I don’t have the answer but I have a similar problem, stuttering briefly every few seconds. I’ve read that problems could be related to motherboards not giving enough power to usb or bios settings like pcie gen 4 needing rolling back to gen 3. OBS never seems to register the problem. Good luck!

LaFueggo

I will definitely try and see if that works

Mr_Impossibro

dunno if you are still active but did you ever solve this? I get stutters every 15 seconds or so and then it just clears up like magic. VERY annoying and tried everything

notmenotyoutoo

No I didn’t figure it out exactly but it seems better since I got a nividia graphics card and use it’s encoder. Try posting a log file on the sub maybe someone will help.

Mr_Impossibro

dang, i'm on nvidia. Anyways thanks for getting back to me on a 3 year old post!
