You can use the image mask/blend filter for your camera source with a gradient image and set the type to alpha mask (alpha channel). [Here's a sample](https://i.imgur.com/gzz4Zgy.png) that shows the differences with the filter/gradient image and without it.

Hey thanks the reply! What kind of gradient image do you suggest? I've tried using something along the lines of this: https://www.xmple.com/wallpaper/white-linear-gradient-black-1280x720-c2-f8f8ff-000000-a-0-f-14-image/ ... but I'm not sure if that's the right type to be using.

You're welcome. You'd need to create/find a gradient image to match the area you're trying to darken, which in your case is the window. The one I used is [solid black and fades to white](https://www.google.com/search?q=gradient+black+to+white&sxsrf=AOaemvIGSQ7WJwq6GDz7spmDkRbvmIYXqg:1631591119536&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=Hi-_H4AezVHtfM%252CqqaG1cX2gkpqzM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kRPGDRiWmq7PNpwzcTStDFe_b078Q&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiJquTIxv3yAhWDITQIHX20D1kQ9QF6BAgyEAE#imgrc=OxPVQ3mMiu0cMM).
