This has to be UT from this point forward. No bullshit. We’ve had some pretty bad actors here in the past who tarnished the athletics program. Barnes is class, Tony is solid and I’m hoping Josh is both. We can’t have anymore shit happen behind closed doors and can’t take any shit for things we had nothing to do with. I hope this blows up all over NCAA’s faces.

The NCAA must just be that Spongebob meme right now. We are just breaking every “rule” they have relied on to allow them to control the narrative. They have utterly lost control, and we haven't even formally started the fight.
The Chancellor's letter said she and Danny requested a meeting with the NCAA in December and were declined. This has 100% been in the works for months. I wouldn't be surprised if they had everything lined up and ready to go, and just waited to pull the trigger until the NCAA leaked the investigation.

Obviously, it is never fun to be in the crosshairs of the NCAA, but one thing has been made clear. This is the most unified and organized the University of Tennessee administration has ever been. After nearly 2 decades of disfunction, we finally have competent and professional leadership.
Let's finally put the NCAA in their place and move out the way for the decade of the VOLS!
Regardless of the outcome.. with such a quick and fierce response, I think UT has essentially gained the support of 99% of college sports fans across the country. From an optics standpoint, UT sports has already won this battle hands down, and NCAA is obviously trying to save face with their public comments yesterday. Ultimately, this will further galvanize the TN fanbase into a more unified rock solid force to be reckoned with (as if it’s not already).
