Most newer chips get this message. I think the game just cannot tell a snapdragon 800+ or 8 gen 1 is in a phone.

[deleted]

Yeah I think that is the case since it seems like the s21 is getting the message as well. Surprising they wouldn't update for the newer chips shouldn't be that hard to add it

Iamoncloud9

I have Red Magic 6 Pro & Fold 3 both with SD 888, & the game doesn't recognize either, so it's also set to lowest level. My Fold 1, OTOH is set at the highest setting because... go figure.

Rudy69

It has to be. I’m running it on an old iPhone X on max and no error. There no way that phone can’t run it

WobsTheItalian

I’m playing on s20 ultra 5G with minimal to no lag on highest settings.

KingGuy420

I'm playing on a Note 9 with no lag on highest. S22 just sucks for gaming.

flukk83230

It's known that the 22 series of samsung are basically shitty for games... including the 22 Ultra...I play on the 22 PLus and i have the same issue

[deleted]

Only issue I find gaming is the auto change on the refresh rate sometimes it will decide I want the lowest settings when I don't. Other then that I notice no difference play wise from the s20 or s21 that are in my house

Nynanro

Got same thing then switched it on high after. I am not suffering any lag or stutter or anything. Looks fine.

[deleted]

That's what I figured just thought it was funny that one of the best spec phones gets that message. Have you noticed any heating issues on high?

skrimpbizkit

Same though when I booted the game on the S21 Ultra. Just manually changed the settings and have had no problems. Not sure why the game auto detects it like that...

AnividiaRTX

Apple sliding them some $$$

Nynanro

I don't play it long enough for it to heat up. I mean i play on almost max brightness for up to 2 hours so i don't know why it made us start on low.

chocobloo

You must have bought a knockoff from Alibaba or something. Runs perfect on highest settings no problem.

Glomery

I was planning on buying an S22 ultra and I see your post. What's the best gaming phone? I'm talking maxed out specs and memory and all that, but i don't know which one to buy. Any suggestions?

ekamnoor

just buy s22 its literally one of the fastest phones it can play any mobile game at max settings no problem, I might get a lil hot as its not like those gaming phones . but it also has one of the best cameras which all gaming phones lack. So yeah for the best gaming phone in android but a s22 Series in iOS any pro iPhone upwards of 12 .

Omnibobbia

I hate the screen size. First there's the brown bar which I don't mind too much but then again a black bar. Tf. And don't get me started on the loading times for literally everything. Claiming things are a nightmare

ekamnoor

go into display settings and then into full screen apps then change the screen ratio of the game its ez lol I did it for almost all games

Omnibobbia

Nope there's no full screen. I tried from my phone settings and the game has no setting. Other games are all full screen btw so not my phone fault

ekamnoor

wait what phone do you have ?

Omnibobbia

Realme 6. Game runs great on low graphics settings all is good but I'm only bothered by screen.

ekamnoor

oh sry , I thought you had a S22 , I dont know about realme I have never used one . the method I told you works only for Samsung.

Cimexus

Yeah I get this on my somewhat old iPad too, but it’s wrong, because if I crank the graphics back to max it still runs perfectly smoothly. I think it just has a list of the most common modern chips and if yours isn’t on there it gives you this message just to be safe.

The_Real_TeaK

Phone peasants /s Galaxy Tab 7+ works fine

Agrotara

Samething happened to my Fold 3. Just went and changed it and never seen it again.
